- The Timings of the Female Moon Body
By Jamelle Zablow-Moloney June 20, 2022 The female cycle changes a woman's entire being throughout its duration, influencing and reshaping her Spiritual, Mental, Emotional, and Physical bodies both throughout the month as well as from one month to another. The behavior changes, the changes in energy levels, emotional response, and mood that we all experience are due to the changes outlined in the four menses phases. Although you may remember all you need to know about these stages of the cycle from Middle School Health, there are great implications for the connection between these four phases and the Sacred Timings of the Earth. Menstruation Phase The first phase of the menses cycle is when the uterine lining sheds and bleeding occurs for typically 2 to 7 days. During this phase, most women experience less energy due to the dip in progesterone, estrogen, and ATP, all of which go on to provide the body with optimal energy, strength, and vitality to carry out daily tasks during the ovulatory phase. The dip in these hormones contributes to more fatigue, which can then translate into bitterness and moodiness as she is required to repeat her days with a depleted energy source that needs to be resting and reflecting. During this time the capacity to reason and strategically plan is lowered as her bodies, physical and energetic, live in the rest and release mode. Are you familiar with the Directional Wheels used by our ancestors from across the globe? Which directional element does this phase line up with for you? Which phase of the moon are you bleeding with? Follicular Phase The second phase of the menses cycle is the follicular phase when the follicles that carry the egg are being created. This is when the body receives a steady increase in estrogen and vitality, and when the mental and emotional bodies begin to come back online, metaphorically speaking, to realign with the woman's waking world. During this 10-17 day phase, the ability to take planned action and to create is reinvigorated and you may find yourself organizing your weekly dinner menu and cleaning up your pantry more consistently. Which moon phase does this part of the cycle line up with for you? Which element do you see represented in this phase's traits? Ovulatory Phase The third phase of the menses is when the woman is at her peak. The egg is being led to the uterus. It is peak fertilization time, and estrogen, FSH, and luteinizing hormones are shining their brightest. At this time, you have more energy and are ready to get the job done. This is the time to negotiate, take the risk, and complete the grunt work. You may find yourself cleaning more during this period of 1-3 days and would have the capacity to carry through with more physical tasks. At this stage in the monthly cycle, all four bodies, the Spiritual, Mental, Emotional, and Physical, are at their optimal health and working together in synchrony. The completion of goals comes into sight as we wrap up loose ends, preparing our bodies for ovulation and then eventually rest again. At the end of this phase and the beginning of the next, if impregnation does not occur, the body sheds the egg, making room for what is to come with the next ovulatory cycle. Which element do you see represented in this phase's traits? Which moon phase are you ovulating with? Luteal Phase The final phase of the mense cycle is the Luteal phase, the 10-17 day phase before bleeding again occurs. During this phase, progesterone and LH peak and the physical and emotional bodies come into their ultimate bond. For the next 10-17 days, we are feeling it all. This is a time to do shadow work and let the emotions flow out so that the mind, heart, and body are clear for the following phase of productive rest. During the Luteal phase, the woman's brain thrives the most in neuroplasticity, which makes this the optimal time for learning new things, getting those books read, looking into the past, and learning from our elders. A woman's energy then begins to wind down once more as it approaches the end of this phase, creating the perfect environment to begin contemplating how projects have gone, assessing what needs to change, and giving her many thanks. Which moon phase does this part of the cycle line up with for you? Which element do you see represented in this phase's traits? Menopause The beautiful thing about Menopause is that we still get to reap the benefits of lining ourselves up with a Directional Wheel and the moon phases without the intensity of the physical cycle. Because a woman bleeds for most of her life, the body will stay in the swing after the bleeding stops, just in more subtle ways. As the cycle of potential continues for women after menopause, the Directional Wheel and Moon Cycles hold their most important value. The synchrony of the female body is that as it ages, its intuition strengthens, giving the post-menopause female a bonded access to her body that she didn't have before. Studying the influencing traits of the seasons and moon phases on your body can provide you with a system of planning that is aligned to the planet if you are not already naturally hooked up to one. Through this planetary alignment, you are then able to access your full potential of creation. If you would like to learn more about how to sync your subtle cycles with the elements, join my Sacred Rhythms Circle each month! The Earthly Cycles Each of these menstrual phases will line up with the moon phases differently for most women, and each of them will speak to the Earthly elements in a unique way. Knowing about the influences of the Earth, Fire, Water, and Air elements, as well as the influences of each moon cycle, will help you understand your potential to harness your powers of manifestation at their greatest peak, as well as when to give your body the rest it inherently needs at the right time. There are many different types of directional Wheels to look to, and if you already have one integrated into your life, I urge you to investigate how it lines up with your cycles and the timings of the planet. Personally, I use a wheel that follows the configuration of the Soul Quest Wheel shown below, which places Earth in the North, Fire in the East, Water in the South, and Air in the West. I was taught with this configuration and find it to be the most accurate when lining up the seasonal cycles, the moon cycles, and the cycles of my own month. However, there are many different wheels that can be incorporated into your physical and planning cycles from all over the world. Perhaps your own ancestors followed a specific wheel for their ceremonies. http://www.drakeinnerprizes.com/shamanmw.htm provides a wealth of different wheels if you are interested in exploring. Sacred Rhythms In the monthly Sacred Rhythms Circle , we explore all of the pieces to this glorious feminine puzzle including how our cycles sync with Directional Wheels, the traits of the elements and directions, the Phases of the Moon, the benefits of energetic cleansing, physical cleansing practices, and how to harness each of these factors in order to: 1. create right timing for yourself and 2. tap into the hidden potential of the flame within! We hope you'll join our monthly Sacred Circle, and in the meantime, Happy Healing!
- Energetic Hygiene and Creation on the Grid
A Lecture on the Tandem Relationship between Alchemy and Science By Jamelle Zablow-Moloney 13, September, 2024 Listen: Transcript: In our search as human beings for the Higgs Boson, the God Particle, we have come to understand this grid-like structure of our existence. A mathematical, geometrical, and very real structure of substance and energy that moves information from one point to another, translating, transmuting, holding creation together, and resembling a 3-D representation of graphing paper, a 3-D grid. We see it in the structures of our brain pathways, circulatory systems, nervous systems, tree tops, and root systems. We see it in the plans and workings of artists, engineers, and foremen. We can see this grid-like structure mimicked in ariel views of our cities, including the ancient ones. It’s the grid of creation. And all of us are here living on it and within it, creating with it, and creating in its image. It is the divine substance that holds all of space and all matter together. This awareness brings the point that “we are all in this together” to LITERAL light. We ARE all in this together, -this substance of life. And we get to choose how it goes. (It’s like we’re all sharing a celestial swimming pool. Just knowing that should make each and every one of us more cautious about the things we create within it.) Every single one us living on this grid has not only divine potential but also a divine responsibility for our creations simply because of our innate nature to exchange the information of our creations within the grid system and thus with each other. This includes our thoughts, actions, and words- those are all of our creations. As we share this energy and information with each other in this unspoken way, we produce and create our experiences and our shared reality. So you can see…when we are aware of our energy structures and how they interact with one another, we can begin to understand how we impact each other as a species on a very deep level. We become aware that we are all-powerful and that we can grab at the opportunities to gain full control of our bodies, minds, and lives, and remain in that sovereign control, creating the world we want, rather than letting the chaos create us. This energetic awareness doesn’t just come through the channels of Particle Science however, it requires a counterpart to balance it out, just like everything else in life does. The Spiritual-Alchemical process is that counterpart. Together, Science and Alchemy combine to give us a holistic roadmap of how to create balance in our lives, which then pulls us through to our own next generations of thought production, miracle-making, goal-reaching, and growth. With these two forces active and in tandem, we can see where we have been, where we are, where we want to go, and exactly how to get there. Today, we’re going to shine a light on the truth of the term “thoughts become things” and begin to put it into practice. We will dive into a guided visualization to see this grid system, our place within it, and how we can create a better world simply using our vision within this grid space. The consistent use of this particular visualization can help you to gradually improve your inner world, followed by your outer world, and then your environments. This is a great practice for a morning meditation routine. You can use this visualization to create the way you want your day to go, or the kind of change you’d like to see in the world. Since we are always already creating in this way with our thoughts, this visualization simply gives you a pathway to the awareness of how your thought creations play out in real life. Now science tells us that it only takes 17 seconds for an atom to begin moving towards other atoms that share its frequency. Like attracting like. 17 Seconds. So by the time we are done with this practice, we will have spent close to 70 times that length attracting to our world the frequencies we will be creating during this visualization meditation. To prepare for this mediation, you have to bring something with you. You will have to bring a wish or a dream with you, or a positive memory. Bring with you the thought of something you want to see in your life, in your community, or in your world. Or you can focus on an event that has made you feel elation, joy, or deep content. It can be something personal, like a loved one returning home, or anything you want to begin to create for your experience here on Earth. .... Find the full meditation in the Meditation Classroom .
- Living Your Life Through Intention
Living intentionally sounds like one of those phenomena that just naturally occurs for us; something as simple and automatic as breathing or blinking. We see, we act, we do, we respond, we decide... We impose our free will onto our lives every moment we are awake. It's the nature of living! However, if we are imposing that will into our daily circumstances and decisions without specific intention (or forward-moving insight), we are not tapping into the innate, natural gift of creation we all possess. Living more intentionally allows us the option to choose our circumstances with more ease and opportunity, reminding us of the natural and innate tools to create and live the life we want to live. Living your life through intention means a combination of things. It may require you to slow down. It may require you to look at yourself and your scope of influence. It requires you to observe and to plan and to consider all of the who's, what's, where's, when's, and why's of all that you are engaged with. Good news: It's free. It's not a gimmick, it's not a healing that someone else does for you, and it's not a therapy session. It's a state of mind. Living your life intentionally is choosing how you want things to go and making the adjustments needed so that they can go that way. Check out some of the following facets of living more intentionally and see if any of them can be applied to your current circumstances for your own benefit and good. If the mindset changes, the physical manifestation will not be far behind. Slowing Down Slowing down sounds like a farse. Who has time for that!? No one! However, slowing down doesn't mean you have to change your schedule. All you have to do is change the way you think about it. Your time is precious, and slowing your mind down and the way you look at your to-do list will allow you to see how you are using your time, how you can use it to your greatest advantage, and give you permission to let go of the things that are taking your time up but not serving you. Each morning, give yourself a full minute to five minutes to sit in silence. Do it before you do anything else, and then repeat the practice if you start to get amped up or sped up during your day. Taking a 60-second silence break will give you a reset so that you can remind yourself that: It doesn't all have to be done now. If it's not an emergency and it's maintaining the status quo, I can let it go for now. I plan accordingly to the timelines that I need to keep. I can only do within the scope of what I have . Other actions we can take to slow down include forcing ourselves to walk slower, eating with no distractions, sitting outside without our phone, choosing a book over a movie, and staying grounded. All of these practices cause the brain and nervous system to slow, bringing our vibration closer to that of the Planet's and grounding us . When we give ourselves permission to slow our minds and bodies down, it gives us a chance to choose our thoughts, words, and actions more deliberately, keeping us from making things worse by reacting in the heat of the moment. Keeping an Eye on the Prize Keeping your eye on the big picture, the grand scale of things will remind you of what you are working for and help you notice when you need to make adjustments as you make decisions, respond to life, and react to situations. When you revisit your long-term goals and the long-term goals of your family, your community, the project you have at work, or even the planet as a whole, you remind yourself of all of the things that go into making dreams come true. Use this as an opportunity for perspective. Dreams don't manifest overnight without miracles, and things only get done when the steps to bring them to completion are accomplished one at a time. When we remember the big picture, we can better task analyze the actions that are needed in order to make that picture whole. This mindset then helps us to slow our minds and our lives down. Keeping your eye on the prize and planning ahead with intention means choosing how you want things to go and making the decisions and adjustments needed so that they can go that way. It is a process, but one we need to take so that we can stay focused. This mindset and the practice of planning gives us the opportunity to... see how certain goals need a specific set of actions, see which steps need to be broken down into smaller ones and how to accomplish that in a logical manner, and how much energy the creation process will take out of us. This is important to know because we want to be putting energy where it belongs rather than wasting it on something that will bear us no fruit. Get a Handle on Your Cycles Becoming familiar with your cycles of mood, energy, and hormones. Come to an understanding of how they resonate with and impact your cycles of creation, motivation, emotion, and silence. This practice is a game changer when seeking to live a more peaceful and intentional life. Learning about your own cycles and how to align them with each other and to the cycles of the planet can be done through study, holistic counseling, regular meditation, or energetic healing. Keeping a calendar to track your hormonal and mood cycles is essential to this practice. I have found that after only two months of tracking my cycles, I have the information I need to make more informed decisions. This has helped me to plan my weeks more smoothly and see with a cleaner perspective what is actually doable, keeping me from piling too much on my plate. Knowing how your cycles impact your ability to make decisions and accomplish your goals can help you plan with more intention, hold to those plans with more consistency, and carry them out with more productivity. Analyzing Outcomes Spend time thinking about the outcomes of habits and decisions that you regularly make. A good place to begin this practice is to look at a situation in your life that you don't like. What are the decisions you personally make that either perpetuate or maintain the occurrence of that situation? By doing this, we are able to see better what we need to change within ourselves and how we need to change our reactions to things that happen outside of us. This reflection can then help us use our free will in a more impactful and purposeful way, thus housing us with the tools to shape our lives and our outcomes. Work for What the Whole You Needs We don't always get to choose our jobs. Sometimes we need the income from a current job and can't throw it all away and just do what we want. But we can find balance. If the needs of your whole self are not met, all of you will suffer, not just some of you. That suffering will penetrate its way through all aspects of your life until you are just a well-rounded unhappy mess. So what is it that your whole self needs? What can you do to incorporate that into your life? Working for what we need holistically rather than just for money opens our mindset up to the reality that when we slow down and piece things together one at a time, we can make the impossible work in our favor. Understanding Your Scope of Influence Knowing who you impact and what you impact is a self-awareness that can serve as a decision-making compass. By looking at the details of how your words, actions, tones, volumes, body language, and facial language affect those around you, you will better be able to see what adjustments you can make to bring more peace into your communication and living situations. For instance, if you know that you are grumpy for the first hour after coming home from work, relay this information to those around you and plan some downtime for yourself so that you don't lose your patience when others need you. Knowing your scope of influence can inform you of your importance, your worth, and the role you play in the groups you operate in. This awareness can then inform your intentional decision-making, actions, and planning. Creative Self Expression Living intentionally also means having the time, the right, the resources, and the confidence to display your creative side to the world. When we fail to let our creative sides show, even in the safety and privacy of our own homes, we block our expression. That expression is energy, and if it's not metabolized through our energy centers, it stays stuck. The incapacity of our human selves to express our love, our interests, and our purpose is the number one reason why our energy bodies get clogged, blocked, and fatigued. Don't forget to engage your creative side, even if you do so in the most subtle ways. What is it that you create? How can you use it to help others? Is it something you can help incorporate at your job, such as a positive habit challenge? What do you need in order to create it? How will you get those things? What needs to be moved around, gained, or given away in order to get those things? Holding your life in perspective can be an overwhelming place to get to when there are a million and one things to keep up with. Living more intentionally makes this possible on a daily basis, easing stress and making life more productive and joyful. You can explore how to live a more intentional life through the course Living Your Life Through Intention offered through my site classes. - Temple Healings: The Geometric State of Things
How the fabric of the Universe folds around you to make you whole. Jamelle Zablow-Moloney 19, February 2025 Resonance is an innate nature of all things. It holds shape together to create everything that we see in this seemingly static world. However, as our predecessors of antiquity knew, the nature of resonance is changeable, and because of this trait, all things around us are too. I had the honor of studying with Dr. Robert Gilbert in 2023 and 2024 in his Biogeometry courses. I was lucky to get the information in such a thorough way straight from the 'horse's mouth,' as he had studied directly under Dr. Ibraham Karim, the researcher, writer, and founder of the system of what he coined as Biogeometry. As an energetic healer, I consider myself blessed to spend my learning and professional development time researching and hunting down the scientific research that explains how the energetic healing I facilitate each day works. Biogeometry has proven to be a massive contribution to this effort, providing the scientific explanations behind the way our energies move. From my courses with Dr. Gilbert, I was able to put the pieces of the physics and alchemy puzzle together to understand on a macroscopic level how energetic health and healing are achieved through the qualitative nature of geometry and movement. Armed with this knowledge, I was so excited to see the science-backed validation for the healing world come together and even more excited to learn that this information had been used and recorded by those of Ancient Egypt and handed down to us through their transcriptions on the temple walls. According to this body of research, those who walked the Earth thousands of years before the times of Christ were using the naturally occurring geometric traits of their environment to mitigate harmful radiation and heal themselves and the land around them. Through their mastery of mathematics and medicine, the temple walls give us a glimpse of their abilities to: complete distance healings for each other balance the effects of radiation inside buildings and in outdoor locations direct energy towards, away from, and around objects, individuals, and spaces transmute radiation (energy) into non-harmful rays use the energy of the sun to create and change the energetic effects of its radiation on objects, individuals, environments, and within the buildings and rooms to understand harmful and non-harmful locations on the planet the knowledge to identify helpful and harmful substances like such as water sources to determine parts of the body that hold illness to transmute cells within the body for healing Humans who lived as long ago as 5,000 BC were using techniques such as hands-on healing, distance healing, radiesthesia, and mental dowsing to determine and accomplish the healing and balancing needs within their environment on a routine basis. By knowing how to communicate with the energy that circulates the planet, they learned the patterns of the moving herds and the best direction to build their structures for the highest health benefit. They learned how to use the sun's radiation to enhance the atmosphere within the temple walls, how to avoid poisonous plants and contaminated water, and how to organize their city planning in a way that would help their civilizations to thrive and grow. This knowledge is still relevant today, and it is one of the most influential pieces of research I have come across to impact my work as a healing facilitator. Through Karim's research and Gilbert's expression of this knowledge, the world now has access to the knowledge and tools to heal and balance everything and anything, sentient or not. What are Temple Healings The Temple Healing treatment is a complete re-centering of the body. This type of treatment is quickly becoming the go-to in my daily distance treatments because it has the potential to rebalance all areas of the body as well as all of the planes of existence. This treatment's effectiveness lies in its systematic use of the information about the planes of existence and the grid of life structure, uncovered and recorded from the Egyptian temple walls. It is an ancient technology that Pharaohs and Kings used to restore youth and health and to prolong life. Temple healings provide the entire body with a formidable rebalancing of each subtle body, including the physical. Through the application of techniques that enhance the natural qualities of the geometric building blocks of life, Temple (and Quantum) Healings bring your cells back to the awareness of their wholeness. While incorporating all of the energetic components of the body in a more specified way, Temple Healings refresh each of your cells back into their original balanced resonance and express that resonant frequency out into the body, leaving you in a more healed and whole state. The Temple Healing is a balancing treatment that allows the body, mind, heart, and soul to re-establish their baselines and heal during a time of respite and restructuring. This treatment is more potent than a chakra balance and alignment, as it incorporates more of the energy body. It is an ideal healing for: long-standing illnesses, deep-rooted energetic imbalances that have caused physical ailment, those who are seeking to move forward in their Soul work but cannot seem to hurdle a major point in their journey, mental illness those who want to rid the body or space of unwanted 'attachments' those needing to rejuvenate the body while it is healing from major incidents such as surgery, an accident, or treatments like Chemotherapy, and for those who are at a crossroads in their life and seeking a reset button. Temple Healings can be done in person or online, with consultation taking place before treatment and in the days following. In-person treatments last one hour, and distance treatments last anywhere between 12 and 24 hours. Treatment is carried out according to your own time, preferences, and needs, which are discussed during consultation. During each day of healing, it is recommended to engage in more calming and restful activities to give the body time, space, and energy to adjust as the balancing effects take place. Although this treatment works through the subtle bodies, its impact is felt through a more synchronistic experience on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. Welcome to MULTIDIMENSIONAL HEALING ! When things get really rough, this could be your Golden Snitch! Once balanced, the body's cellular response begins to work in your favor by promoting your health rather than simply maintaining it from day to day. This effect is achieved by resetting the cellular action within the body to create the atmosphere of homeostasis. Once our cells are reminded of their original function, through this treatment, they can then give the body a complete rejuvenation, one session at a time. This treatment has moved long-standing blocks, cleared up cavities, and restored immune systems during the flu, just to cite a few examples, and is a great treatment to engage in on a monthly basis to stay in your prime! Need a reset button? Let's visit and see if this treatment is right for you!
- The Hall of Assumptions
by Jamelle Zablow-Moloney 12/54/2024 The past shines through our eyes, our thoughts, our words, our lives, and our creations every moment of every day as we move forward in the same way, over and over again, informed by all we already experienced. What if we stopped looking back and started looking forward in every moment (within reason)? Then, we would perpetuate our constant opportunity to create what we are looking forward to receiving- our dreams, our goals, our plans, and the assumptions that cause us to thrive rather than living off of stagnant assumptions and repeating stagnant behavior. The past lives on in our memory, as well as within each of our cells, constantly available to inform us of what we have already experienced and learned. This is a miraculous and imperative mechanism of the mind and energy body that alerts us when things are off and helps to keep us from making the same mistakes twice. The past transforms within us, becoming our learned behavior , becoming integrally woven into our systems of functioning, and becoming our Hall of Assumptions, where all of our knowledge about what to expect is stored. Assumptions are a product of our past, and, therefore, are also stored in our every cell, both in functional ways and malfunctioning ways. Each morning, when we wake up to our daily routine with bits and pieces of it, if not all of it, operating on autopilot, we make use of the assumptions we have programmed ourselves to accept. Most of this is an automatic mechanism of our third-dimensional experience, allowing us to assume that in the morning, our toothbrush will be where we left it the night before, for example. Because of the nature of our shared reality, we can count on these constants of physics in our lives. And thankfully so, because without them, we would have to go on a quest each morning just to brush our teeth! Hall of Assumptions | Bare Roots Energy Without the constants of our shared creation and reality, there would be no structure to our human experience, and nothing would be predictable, leaving us with a world that we could not effectively change for long-term benefit. If you can imagine it, it would look like a world without safety nets for the sick, without a community for connection, and without the ability to grow food, hunt in the daylight, or gather clean water. Let's all be thankful for our ability to create this reality together for a moment, as our collective understanding of the planet is what keeps in place the structures that we use daily! The nature of our co-existence and the way that it is created is why we look outside and see green grass and blue skies. All of these constants are the working assumptions we were taught and collectively accept and live with. We need them if we want to keep experiencing life together and life on this planet. Just everything in the universe, there's another side to this coin. Malfunctioning assumptions are those that hold us back and keep us repeating patterns in our lives that perpetuate suffering. They are the beliefs we were taught as a child, and those that we taught ourselves while rationalizing our experiences. We can see this in our own individual lives, as well as culturally and worldwide as a species. Wars have been started over misinformed assumptions...truly assumptions live on a spectrum just like everything else, some are good, some are not. But...assumptions can change, because we change, and grow, and just like the rest of life, we learn how fluid they really are as our lives change with them. The way we look at our assumptions can help to determine the success our our healing path. It is important for us to know about the assumptions we operate under because all of our assumptions inform our conscious thoughts, decisions, and actions. They lead us to wear specific clothing, speak in a particular way, take a certain route to work, or avoid a specific hallway. Our assumptions, even more importantly, teach us. The reality they create becomes so habitual in our minds that they are then second nature, and sooner than later, we are using a tone of voice towards someone because we have assumed of their disapproval before the conversation even began. Misinformed, maligned, and dysfunctional assumptions are one of the biggest culprits of communication breakdown that we can absolutely tackle when we look at our thinking patterns, and engage in metacognition. (You know I'm going to tell you to read The Meditation Manual!) When we are aware in the present moment of the origin thoughts, the biases and the opinions we cary from the past, we can modulate how we respond by taking responsibility for our own perceptions, opening up communication to allow others to express theirs freely. Know yourself. Know your mind. Know what's stored in your Hall of Assumptions. The past is a funny thing that likes to teach us about what does and what does not work. It moves through us in the assumptions and belief systems we keep. However, our communication with the past doesn't end there, because through these assumptions and belief systems come our thoughts- our catalysts for creation, and our actions- creation itself. I know you're probably tired of reading me write this, but yes, your assumptions and thoughts produce your world and your experiences. As you live in autopilot running off of the assumptions from your past, you project to your future what is in your mind and in your field- your past! As you live in the present moment, knowing yourself, and running off of the awareness of your thoughts, you can then choose what to think. When you can choose what you're thinking about, you're choosing what to create! My questions are: Do you take regular inventory of your assumption toolbox? Are you aware of the assumptions you function with on a daily basis in a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual way? Do you carry assumptions you no longer need? Do you have assumptions that keep you from having fresh and unprojected communication? Do you have a way to transform your assumptions into something useful? Come and take a Journey through the Realms with me to your Hall of Assumptions so that we can begin to clear out what's holding you back. Thanks for reading, Happy Healing, Jamelle from BRE www.barerootsenergy.com
- Finding Your Right Healing Path
Jamelle A. Zablow-Moloney 9, Sept. 2023 Healing solutions that are right and perfect for you are dependent on your inner environment. Take survey of what's going on in your head, and let that information guide you to the healing opportunities you need. How much do you struggle with yourself? How much do you struggle with your day-to-day life? The answers to these questions will inform you of whether you need to start a meditation routine, an exercise regime, a diet change, or some trauma processing. If you're a fighter and on the struggle bus with all of the different parts of yourself, it is a good indication that you're looking for relief somewhere, and in our present day, healing opportunities abound with variety and easy access. From yoga to Ayahuasca ceremonies, you can have your aura cleansed or join a wellness group that welcomes you into their fold with open arms. When coming across new healing opportunities, which I am sure many of you do more often now that the "New Age" is here, some helpful things to consider are... We all deserve joy. Is this a feasible activity for me to do once, a few times, or often ? Because inner healing is a journey, a single tool or strategy that we implement but do not stay consistent with, will naturally remove itself from our schedule and life, and thus cease to work in our favor. The best tools to help us down the path of healing and growth, are those that both feed our soul and are easily implemented into our daily schedules and routines in a way that makes us want to stick with them and complete them each day or each time we need them. There are several healing modalities that can give you a good cleansing and produce a life-changing effect for you, however, after the magic wears off, what will you have to replace the feeling of enlightenment, self-assurance, joy, security, and progress ? As a practitioner, I highly recommend activities such as retreats, ceremonial events, Realm Journeying, or meditative sabbaticals. What I would call 'large scale' and 'one-time' healings are so valuable because they are life-changing, and also because they can get you on the healing path and keep you on it for long periods of time (relatively speaking). Consider this, while you are in that sweet spot of bliss after your 2-week retreat is over, what daily strategies will you implement and begin holding in place to carry you through the long term? I'm talking years and years long-term. Do you have access to smaller-scale routines that still have significant and lasting impacts on your moods, your peace, and your ability to manifest? We can make anything possible with the right support. Do you have a daily routine that you stay consistent with simply out of habit? Is it feeding your joy and growth, or is it a burden? If it's a burden, it's time to let that routine go, change it, or gussy it up a bit. We can heal with dedication, and when we remember that healing is not free or easy all of the time. We are meant for joy, and it can be placed into the most mundane of things. To keep your healing journey robust and ongoing so that you hit fewer slumps and meet struggles with more ease, it is imperative to have daily peace bringers in your life to help you maintain that therapeutic momentum. How can you bring more joy to your daily routines? and How can you include routines that bring you joy into your daily routine? What do you want your healing exploration to do for you ? Are you attempting to start something new in order to become something new? This journey can lead you to try everything you run into, and eventually to the healing modalities and routines that work best for you. For those on this healing journey, I recommend finding something you can stick to, long-term so that you can experience benefit from your healing tools even when you are going through the tough spots in life. It is in these moments that our spiritual and wellness tools catch us and help us heal more gently and more quickly. Are you seeking a healing path that will help you release a burden that has been holding you back? This journey can lead you to the deep soul work that makes it easier to look at the hidden features of your life that you may have been ignoring. This healing journey is an emotional yet necessary one for living in peace. For this healing journey, I recommend healings that come with a big bang such as Akashic Record Readings, Life Path Readings, Ceremonial Events, A Journey Through the Realms, and spiritual or wellness courses. Are you on a healing path while you are seeking direction and guidance? Life can be confusing and debasing when we experience an awakening or spiritual shift, leaving us feeling like our daily routines just don't fit anymore. This is the journey of mindset change. Before we can find things that will help us feel more comfortable in our skin, we first have to recognize and take responsibility for the changes we want to see and feel. We will never find direction if we refuse to acknowledge that we want to draw a newness to us that may require us to take chances and risks to be happy. On this journey, you will find what points you to where you want to go and what doesn't. My advice for those on this journey is to not let others tell you what is best for you. Your body and higher self will always know the answer to that question if you get still and listen. Regardless of where you look and what you are led to when finding your right healing path, always remember that the more tools you have in your toolbox, the easier it is to get back on the horse if you get off, and the easier it is to see results in real-time. - Shifting Timelines May Be the Only Way Through
Shifting Timelines and Holding the Frequency for a Brighter Future Jamelle Zablow-Moloney Bare Roots Energy March 3, 2025 Shifting Timelines with Bare Roots Energy; Image via Upsplash While I was doom-scrolling the other day and contemplating how my life was passing me by in a state of fear as I watched the world fall apart online, I made a decision. A life-changing one. I decided that I wasn't going to do that anymore- and I'm not talking about the doom scrolling. My compulsiveness will absolutely cause me to doom scroll in the future. I'm talking about living in a state of fear. I refuse to live there any longer! None of us can control everything that goes on around us due to the nature of our collective creation, however, we can absolutely impact what we experience as well as the paths we travel down with 1. our conscious intent and our attention and focus on the world we long to live in. We can do this with the tools of metacognition, meditation, and alchemical growth. By employing these tools consciously and purposefully in our lives, we begin to transform ourselves, our habits, our old ways of thinking, and then the world around us. There's no doubt about it. It's 2025, and the world is tumbling down...again. It's not the first time it's happened, but it is the first time it's happened with this many humans on the planet, which has actually paved the way for The Great Potentiality that lies before us. With so many people living on Earth right now, we have a great deal of POWER ! We are all batteries . I know so many of you hear me say that so often, but I say it because it's true, and with this many batteries on the planet, we have the capability to engage our spirit and our spiritual practices NOW to CREATE CHANGE and help others do the same! We have all chosen to be here now, in this timeline of chaos. If you are feeling lost; If you are feeling a pull; If you are looking for hope and solution; If you are feeling drawn to help others; and if you are feeling drawn to what some describe as the light, or spirit, or the path, IT IS NO COINCIDENCE! Holding the Frequency by Bare Roots Energy TM Your impact is needed, necessary, and real! For every human that makes the choice to live in a more peaceful tomorrow, the balance of our planet evens out a little bit more. By deciding what frequency we want to vibrate at and then by consistently doing the work to stay there, we can create a more peaceful tomorrow, and we will do so automatically by placing ourselves along more progressive timelines as we make those choices. I know shifting timelines sounds fantastical, but quantum physics tells us a different story- that it's not! Shifting timelines isn't an activity out of a comic book anymore. It's real, it's here, and our beautiful human DNA is 100% capable of utilizing this spiritual science to create a better future and world. Timeline shifts occur when we create an alternate version of our reality by holding a higher charged frequency for a long enough period to allow that frequency to weave its way into all aspects of our lives. We can do this by holding our frequency of choice throughout our day, even when we bump up against discomfort. We can hold the frequency by making a conscious choice as soon as we wake up to resonate with the frequency we want to experience. VIBRATION IS KEY! We don't have to live in fear; we can create any frequency we want to feel within our bodies at any moment in time if that is what we decide to do with our moment. We don't have to believe that things are "awful" and will stay that way; we can shift our perspective to one of potentiality, understanding, openness, and self-forgiveness instead to open up the doors of opportunity for ourselves, our future, and those around us. We don't have to sit idly by and watch structures of equality go down the drain; we can consciously choose to create better structures instead through creation meditation, collaboration, strategic planning, and DIVINE RIGHT ACTION . By taking action on our convictions, our morals, and our beliefs, we can rise out of the doom-scrolling mindset and express our Soul Purpose to the world in a way that can make a real difference. This sounds like a lot of work, but when you make one small change at a time, it becomes automatic as one simple change turns into success and builds a hunger for more. The more you decide to feel good, the more you do to feel good. The more you decide to spread light out into your world, the lighter your world will be, and the better off everyone around you will be because of it! When you can't go around, you have to go through. Times, they are a changin', and change can be scary if we let it feed us fear. But we don't have to take that route. We can take charge of our sovereign nature and SHIFT! Creation is always a vibrational activity. Every single thing we create holds the frequency we are experiencing during the creation process. Timeline-shifting is no different. It's all about holding the frequencies of change. How do you raise your vibration? ▽ HOW TO HOLD THE FREQUENCY: Decide what you want to feel. Feel it with your mind. Bring it into your heart. Radiate it every moment. A few of you may know that I have been working on multidimensional meditations for our Meditation Meet-Ups. However, not many of you may know that there is a method to this madness! The purpose of the multidimensional meditation series is to give us a venue to explore our multidimensional existence and utilize all of the tools available to us to create a better timeline for ourselves. Through this meditative work, we can learn how to raise and maintain our frequencies, how to clean our energy body, how to access places of healing, and how to transition into timelines that are more joyful and harmonious to experience. 🧘♂️ These skills are what we work on mastering during our meditation meet-up. Join me at the end of each month to learn about the wonderful, energetic parts of yourself and this reality, how to practice weaving peace into your future, and how to practice resonating into a more harmonious timeline and experience for yourself. On March 28th, we will visit the 11th dimension to feel the stillness of God, Source, The Creatrix, The Creator, The Center, and The Golden Energy. Every day I get out of bed to help you hold the frequencies you need for your day, and for your highest and best good. What frequency do you want to hold each day you rise from your slumber? Do you struggle getting there when the times get rough? Join me for our monthly meditations, book with me for a healing or a coaching plan, and DECIDE. DECIDE WHERE YOU WANT TO RESONATE. DECIDE HOW YOU WANT TO LIVE. And if you are ready to put all of the pieces together to live there, you know exactly where to find me! Need some coaching to learn how to hold your frequency stable through thick and thin? Book with me here: www.barerootsenergy.com/#calendar
- The Alchemical Trails
The Steps of Ancient Alchemy Described Jamelle Zablow-Moloney 11/20/22 Is ancient alchemy still relevant? You bet your aching bones it is! Alchemy has gotten such a bad rap over the centuries due to witchcraft lore, however, if the term 'alchemy' were, in fact, isolated to the practices of witches, then we would ALL be witches! Alchemy, the process of changing form, is the force that perpetuates us forward through our internal, personal, and Earthy cycles. Alchemy did not originate in any terms in association with witchcraft but rather became a systematic way to describe the phenomena of healing and spiritual growth, eventually being associated with witchcraft due to the healer's practices. The term and practice of alchemy are not associated with a particular belief system, but as the root of Alchemy simply describes the movement of life, it lends itself to multiple religions and scientific practices as a framework of growth and realization. When analyzed in a systematic way and applied to the cycles we currently live through, one finds that the steps of alchemy can provide insight into a calmer outlook, as expectations shift and heal. Here, you will find a brief description of the Alchemical Trails we all walk through in life, as described in the following 12 steps, and giving you a tool to see how they line up with your own natural rhythms and cycles. There are several renditions of the alchemical process, and some do not align with each other perfectly. Here, we will refer to George Ripley's 12 Gates, as this is the most popular referral and lends itself easily to living interpretations and insights. Calcination : When the processing of daily life becomes hardened, the calcination stage will burn away your impurities so that you can form something new from the ashes. Calcination works through the Fire Door and the Struggle Phase, as all of the pieces of you that have survived, come tumbling out of the fire to show you their full truth. Dissolution : Dissolution clears out the Water Door of emotional processing as you reflect on the previous stage of calcination. You analyze how your new emptiness feels, take stock of what you have left over and what you have gained, and begin to plan ahead. Separation : After the calcination has burned away your impurities, and the dissolution has washed away their ashes, all of your pieces are then revealed, sparkling new for you to sift through and sort out. This is the stage of growth, working through your Air Door , where you begin to re-collect your favorite parts and begin your rebuilding. Conjunction : Conjunction brings your pieces back together into a new form as a physical being walking through the Earth Door , starting a new journey of creation. The conjunction is your rebuilding and completion stage when the new you walks a new path with a new perspective. Putrification : Putrification is the result of the conjunction, when the unneeded parts die and fall away, neutralizing back into pure energy. This is somewhat of a clean-up stage after the conjunction, where you continue to shed what you chose to save but ended up not needing. At this stage, your old perspectives and assumptions are falling along the wayside, left to burn and wash away again through the Fire and Water doors, as you forget them and move onto a Spiritual existence here on Earth. Cibation/Distillation : Cibation refers to receiving nourishment from Source, allowing that higher energy to shine through you in the best interest of all involved. Distillation is the extension of cibation, living that divinity in real-time through both the Air and the Earth Doors. Distillation is having one foot in both worlds; as you walk in your Earthly experience, you do so successfully holding a Spiritual perspective. In this place, you have mastered emotional control and are able to manifest, respond rather than react, and see the world in the light of grace. Crystallization : At this stage, you have fully claimed your divinity and work and play in the progress and process of your divine purpose. From here, you spiral inward through your Spirit Door in the center of your elemental doors and live your truth in full spectrum. You are fully aligned after crystallization and claim your clarity through your actions rather than living by the misaligned values life once placed upon you. Some place the process of crystallization in the Fire Door , referring to the pressurized heat that it takes to create such beautiful and pure stones. Sublimation : Sublimation, literally speaking, is the changing of the physical form to ether. It is the continuous cycle through the elemental doors in its entirety, and in the Alchemical process, refers to the mastery of your energy body. This is the stage of self-realization where you have a full understanding of your energetic layers and components, and how working to keep them healthy can rectify and heal your quality of life and death. Fermentation : -the art of extracting the energy from the substance to use it freely. Fermentation is the masterful use of your energy bodies in your daily life and using your own energy for healing as you experience events that inappropriately adjust your frequencies. Working through the Earth Door , fermentation guides you through the process of applying your higher principles to life. Exaltation : Exaltation is the culmination of the right conditions for your truth to fully shine. When in this place you are expressing your truth by fully living your potential and divine purpose. You are engaged in your Soul Purpose work and are aligned with how to operate in this way indefinitely, as you are fully grounded in your Spirit Door . Multiplication : Multiplication is the practice of continuous growth, as you humbly seek to learn more and become a more potent version of your Soul Self. By aligning and accessing your continuous cycles through all four elemental doors , you master manifestation and build yourself in expansion. Projection : Projection is the Philosopher's Stone, the ultimate goal reached, in that you have fully realized your etheric potential and have mastered its use in this Earthly plane. Projection occurs when all four doors are aligned and running on pure energy without any interference from the vibrations of the environment. Few men who have dedicated themselves to this study have achieved this feat, however, there are accounts of it as told recently by Baird T. Spalding in his works titled Ascent to the Highest Temple In The World, Life, and Teaching of the Masters of the Far East. I hope you found these references useful, and as always, Happy Healing, from Jamelle @ Bare Roots Energy !
- Is Your Solar Plexus Center Healthy?
By Jamelle Zablow-Moloney Our Solar Plexus Center is one of the busiest energy centers in the body. This center impacts and is impacted by our health and digestion; it serves as a control center for our will, decision-making, and self-worth, and it connects us to those with whom we have strong and lasting relationships. Most importantly, the health of the Solar Plexus Center directly influences and is influenced by our thoughts. The Solar Plexus front protrudes from a core point at the spine, below the rib cage, and then outward from the abdomen area. Through our Solar Plexus center, our thoughts directly impact our physical health. When the front of your Solar Plexus is clean and operating optimally, we are aware of our place in the world and optimize the experience by using our personal talents to express out into the world through the jobs we do and the relationships we have. Through a rooted connection with this center, we can see how our place, among others, is impactful. With this knowledge on board, we can then look in reverence at the impact others (incoming energy) have on us personally, beginning to see the whole picture and understand the value of balanced systems. With a healthy front center, the Solar Plexus Chakra shines into us a foundation of confidence, adaptability, and clarity as we make our assessments of the world. In this state, we feel emotionally balanced and create trusting and lasting relationships with others. When the front of the Solar Plexus Chakra is clouded with a build-up of energy, we can begin to suffer from low self-esteem, spaciness, emotional highs and lows, low confidence, an inability to decide, and over-sensitivity to stimuli. This is an easy center for caregivers to exhaust when they do not take the time to replenish themselves regularly. With a build of energy in the Solar Plexus area, we can also begin to feel the tension build over time. This is not a sign that something is wrong but a clue into what needs to be released. All of our chakras become clouded with energetic build-up from time to time. It is not an ailment but a consequence of the type of world we live in. It is becoming so important for us to monitor our thoughts in order to feel better, live better, and be better. Our thoughts drive everything we experience on a daily basis, creating for us in real-time and keeping our Solar Plexus Center incredibly busy in the act. The back of the Solar Plexus is directly across from its front, protruding out the back of the rib cage. A healthy Solar Plexus back has the same positive symptoms as its front side yet expresses these traits through a more personal and physical manner rather than an emotional one. This is the center responsible for synthesizing the thought processes we store in our field into physical manifestation, making it a very important center for our mechanisms of creation. As the back of the Solar Plexus thrives, we are able to divert our negative thinking patterns into action of change and redirect the wording to create thoughts of beauty, hope, and optimism. This is the center that causes back pain when you worry too much. When healthy, we respect our bodies, understand physical boundaries, value our health, and care well for ourselves. When unhealthy , body image can be a sore spot, negative self-talk can take center stage, and we may put too much or too little value on physical traits in ourselves or others. An unhealthy back could also lead to storing excess fat and fatigue as our minds run away with inner words and images made up of frequencies that drain our energy, rather than feeding and replenishing it. How to work with the Solar Plexus Chakra Core exercises and working with the color yellow during your visualization or meditation is a great ways to feed this chakra. Feed this chakra yellow light from the back, and watch a yellow light expand out from the front. Meditating with a sun in your abdomen or meditating outside with the sun are both quick ways to feed this chakra and feel instant relief. For long-term relief, chase your shadows back to your first impressions of your mental health as it was impacted by your body. Reflect on your self-worth and take action to make it whole. Assess your current value on health and your current self-care practices, get enough rest, and clean your energy centers daily. Relax! Several times a day, take a deep breath and let out a deep sigh while you release and relax your back. Let your worries go for a moment, and reflect on the positive aspects of your self-worth before going back to your task. If you struggle feeding yourself positive feedback, envision someone who has given you positive feedback in the past, and see them providing it to you in your now moment. Look out for the Heart Chakra indicators in the next email that will come in the next 2-4 weeks. Always feel free to give me a ring or an email if you'd like to know more about your energy bodies! - Attending to Focus; Keeping Humanity Sovereign
Becoming A Force Of Creation © Jamelle Zablow-Moloney 4 September, 2024 Due to our co-existence upon a grid of creation, our actions, words, and thoughts can produce ripple effects and real-time results. We've all seen it through acts of intuition and miracles, when things happen so accordingly it could have only been by divine intervention. It was, and you're the divinity. It's now common knowledge that when we focus on our status, quo we're only going to keep getting the status quo back. The grid of creation is a reflection of and for the Universe, making up the tools it takes to create. When we forget to apply our free will to this multi-dimensional, spiritual tool, we forget to apply it to our creations and we end up making nothing. So how can we change that? Through the natural course of our day, we make decisions and take action, moving independently through the choices we are given. Oftentimes, our days become automatic. We begin and complete each task just as we did the day before running much of ourselves on autopilot. It's an efficient mechanism, functioning on autopilot, but one that can disrupt our uniqueness and truth by turning our inner and subconscious mind and focus away from our creations of joy. Autopilot, along with its many benefits on the work front, takes away the authenticity of our dreams and our ability to create those dreams with automaticity, as our human code innately enables us to do. But who has time to dream anymore? Focus is an outcome of our successful metacognition. Regardless of the experience we find ourselves inside of at any given moment, focus can be employed on a regular basis to not only enhance our experience, but also to remind our cells and particles of their amazing potential for creation and regeneration. It's a simple concept that is entirely under-used by our species. Focus is a key survival skill of animals and our own animalistic behaviors as both are constantly seeking safety and harmony for the body's senses. As humans, our uniqueness lies in our ability as well as our reluctance to automatically and consciously use our focus to our own daily benefit. Focus is also a driver of our actions, and we cannot use it appropriately unless we know where we want our focus to be. It's easy enough to tell ourselves to focus throughout the day so that we can stay on task, but what if we want to be on task AND happy? Why shouldn't we take every opportunity provided by our own mental talents, to build the landscape of life and the world we want to experience? This is where our humanistic ability to be on autopilot and simultaneously dream can change our perspectives and outlook, and turn our page for us. By using every chance we have to remember what our goals and dreams feel like, look like, smell like, and sound like, we begin to build momentum for our truth to shine through us and our experiences. As it is outlined in the Meditation Manual, we can take advantage of our mental down times to feed our dreams and our souls. By choosing where to focus every time we can spare the attention, we build within ourselves the changes we want to see and become. Throughout the day, especially the rough ones, are you asking yourself: What kind of a day do I want to have? How do I want to feel today? What do I want to experience today? What do my goals look like? What are the small steps I can take towards a bit of happiness? By regularly addressing these questions and similar ones, you can begin to change the landscape your focus is highlighting and direct it towards a landscape of your own choosing and construction. In layman's terms, dream. Dream often, and if you choose, dream big. Where does your focus lay? Is it with this election? Is it in the division of the country right now? Is your focus gathered in fear and paranoia? What would happen if you shifted your focus to peace, regardless of how unimaginable an accomplishment it may seem? This simple shift can change you, and change how you feel. It is a powerful reminder of what we can create within us by simply choosing what we think about. This is the secret weapon our human DNA provides us. Why not use it to our benefit? And yes, I know. Way easier said than done! But I challenge you now: claim your metacognitive gifts! Claim your human DNA that allows you to create everything you experience, direct those creations, and make your world great! If you are seeking help in this area, I offer a plethora of services and uplifting courses that will guide you through each and every bit of creating this magical reality for yourself. With love from the depths, Happy healing! -Jamelle
- Meditation in Perspective: Seeking the Quiet Mind
By Jamelle Zablow-Moloney 10, June, 2024 How many people have told you to meditate? I know your Reiki Master has, and probably your therapist, your doctor, your sister, and more, even if they don’t engage in the practice themselves! Why? Because there are thousands of years of evidence backing the practice. By now, we all know that thoughts become things. Each thought creates a system of intelligent particles providing our cells with a chemical memory that gets stored in the body. This occurs with pleasant and unpleasant emotions, building our perceptions, our health, and our lives. Healthy thoughts and emotions provide our cells with balance, and in a balanced state, our body has full access to its self-healing abilities. Stress will do the opposite and keep us from those self-healing abilities innate to our bodies. Persistent and long-standing stress and trauma are causes and symptoms of emotional memory that will, unless processed and released, hide in the central nervous system, joints, organs, and energy fields. This phenomenon causes energetic build-up, producing illness and creating brain fog. Meditation alone or with other therapeutic activities breaks this cycle. Engaging in regular meditation practice provides a magical release for the nervous system. As we let all of our bodies, spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical, settle into deep relaxation, areas of particle build-up begin to dislodge from the nooks and crannies inside of us and flow down our energetic streams to rejoin the electrical current that sustains our life. This effect occurs when we sleep as well, but flows faster through meditation, as the conscious metacognitive exercise allows us the opportunity to acknowledge what is occurring in our minds, bodies, and etheric layers. This is how meditation turns pain into neutrality to create healing within. This is Seeking the Quiet Mind. Seeking the quiet mind is a pathway of meditation that allows all of our human fallacies to lead to peace, release, and balance. See, attaching judgment to our reoccurring thoughts and memories can be helpful when the thoughts and memories are helpful. When they are not, that judgment re-strings those thoughts and emotions to our conscious mind, nervous system, and psyche, a cycle that keeps us from letting go. Seeking the quiet mind is the practice of seeing those thoughts as they come up, refraining from applying judgment, and letting them pass through the body and mind with total neutrality. Easier said than done! Here are some tips and tricks that I hope will help you along your way to finding the consistency of motivation to engage in meditation practice: Thoughts are tricky and sticky little things, and they come back! Heavy thoughts will come up time and time again. Let this natural process occur. We are called on to learn and release our biggest life lessons over and over until we really see them for what they are and really see ourselves for what we are. Meditation is a tool that helps us manage this cycle, heal through it, and change it, rather than live with the repetition indefinitely. Let your long-term goal be to reach a quiet mind, and your short-term meditation goal be to simply stay in the practice for a dedicated amount of time each week. Practice daily or 3-4 times per week. If you struggle to hold attention and sit still, practice meditation for one minute at a time, and start building yourself up from there. Baby steps lead to mastery, and the benefits lead to a well-balanced future. The most effective way to meditate is to do so for between 11 and 15 minutes at a time. Once the body hits the 8-10 minute mark of settling down, it enters into a deep relaxed state where healing begins. Small doses are effective, and longer doses are more so. Let the thoughts flow out instead of pushing them back down or ignoring them. Thinking and noticing what you are thinking is a part of the metacognitive healing process. When thoughts hang on and keep coming back, we know they need our attention. Set time aside for thought processing and therapeutic practices separately from meditation to make the healing process more gentle. Meditation is flexible and can be used in many ways. If your jam isn’t to sit and seek the quiet mind, use it as an affirmation practice and recite your affirmations during mental down times throughout your day. For instance, when you’re sitting at a stop light, you have the opportunity to raise your emotional state for a solid 5 minutes with a meditative affirmation before green says GO! During meditation, remind yourself that distraction is a part of the physical release process. You’re not doing it wrong, you’re doing it very right! See those thoughts for what they are, acknowledge them, and let them float away, even if they come back. Your meditation time is to support the cleansing process, and your therapeutic times are to support the understanding and learning processes. Meditation becomes most effective for us when used consistently, working efficiently and quickly to change our lives regardless of the direction we want to go. Many practices provide us the means to reclaim our clear inner current such as eating clean, Yoga, Reiki, spiritual adventuring, breath work, and more, with Meditation rising at the top of the list due to its convenient accessibility to practice independently, anywhere, anytime. - The Nature of the Energetic Cord
Jamelle Zablow-Moloney January 1, 2023 We are all energetic generators! The electrical currents and particles that are absorbed, emitted, and processed by living beings- humans, animals, and plants- are just recently entering the scientific frontier for study, even though their existence has been acknowledged and used for healing and diagnosis around the world for over a millennium. As we speak, a new MRI machine that can trace deep brain light is being developed! The human body is made up of not only bone, tissue, and water but also of electrical currents, energy centers, energy fields (auras), and cords of energy. Today, our focus is on the phenomena of the energetic cord, with its ability to both store and transport our energies, mimicking the functions of the circulatory system and dictating the health of our relationships with the outside world. Energetic cords are concentrated pathways of the electricity generated by and running throughout our bodies. These cords run along our Meridian lines (TCM), express outward from our chakra centers, and run along both our horizontal axis at the heart center and the vertical axis following our spine (the Hara Line). At work inside the body, these energetic highways disperse our energy to specific organs, tissues, and areas of our physique to regulate our health. At work outside of the body, these cords give and receive energy to and from situations and other people. If the energy bond is strong and consistent enough, a cord will form in order to regulate a balanced energy exchange between the two individuals. These cords can originate from all of our energy centers in one form or another. However, the cords created at the Root, Sacral, and Heart Chakra centers are big influencers in our daily lives and how we interact with others and our environment. These particular centers, along with the Crown, dictate our physical, emotional, and mental responses to our daily experiences more than any other energy center we have. These areas of the body process more energy, producing more of it in turn. When energetic cords exist between two people, they most typically originate from the heart, sacrum, or root centers, depending on the relationship type. Parent-child and intimate relationships grow at the roots and sacral centers, while sibling relationships and relationships between best friends grow a cord at the heart. The job of this cord is to keep a balanced field of power between its two entities by exchanging energy at the most optimal resonance, using what energy is available between the two. If both parties are able to source (generate) their own energy to stay emotionally fulfilled, keep good relationship boundaries, and vibrate with resonance of joy-filled emotions, both parties will continuously generate more than enough energy to promote good physical and mental health. This balanced and high vibrational connection is the ideal type of relationship we inherently strive for in all of our connections, and it generates energy at an exponential rate, influencing a greater outside environment with a greater potential for healing and happiness. This is why it is so important for us to mind our thoughts and emotions, and to know how to consciously do so. The magic of this electrical exchange is that it helps us to generate energy for ourselves and, when operating under healthy conditions, can generate more than we need in order to share it with those in need. The more energy we have, the more we have to share, and the more we share, the more we generate! Energy cords make it possible for us to more easily feel the emotions and moods of someone with whom we are very close, even if we are not physically around them. They make it possible for us to share the healing burden, to hold our loved ones when they are in need, and to accept the help of others when we are in need. Energetic cords can be very useful when shared between two people who sustain a nurturing relationship. It is, for instance, beneficial for this cord to exist between a mother and child because it provides a balancing effect, helping to teach the child what emotional regulation feels like, when to be afraid, and how to emotionally perceive the world around them, assuming the mother is in good mental and emotional health themselves. How we use our Cords Our perception of the world expresses itself when we have feelings about something we experience and when those feelings cause a physical reaction, such as goosebumps, giddiness, or a pit in our stomach. This is the type of learning we glean from our parents at a very young age through our observations and through the energetic cords that bind us. This exchange of information dictates how we feel about everything we encounter and how we manage those feelings. This is important because those feelings, in turn, impact our bodies and health by releasing specific hormones in our brains, the physical consequence of each of our thoughts. Due to this energetic relationship, our offspring feel what we feel much of the time, learning what is ‘normal’ for us, adapting to that ‘normal,’ and making it their own. If we are joyful most of the time, our offspring will inherit that high vibrational emotional resonance and be in good health. If we are stressed much of the time, they will learn what the feeling of stress is, that it is ‘normal’ to feel that way, and dwell in a lower vibrational state of health, just as you do. This type of cord connection and learning can occur in other relationships when individuals are with each other for prolonged periods of time, such as in marriages, long-standing work relationships, and sibling relationships. Emotional ties and intimate relationships can build cords and keep them strong if emotions and intimacy continue to flow between the two individuals. These cords are useful by providing healing for the relationship but only work well and on a long-term basis if both individuals are sufficient in sourcing their own energies and are able to keep an energetic balance. If both parties are sourcing their energy from within themselves, the combined resonance of the couple will grow, providing continual growth and happiness for both parties. Couples that share this production are power couples, accomplishing goals and demonstrating flexibility and understanding. Couples, be they intimate or not, who demonstrate an over-dependency of each other or an imbalance of dependency between the two of them will experience turmoil in the relationship until a balance is found or until the cord is removed in order to teach each individual to independently meet their own energetic needs. Sometimes we need to unplug. When we are unable to source our own emotional energy from within at the rate we need, we begin to impose emotional attachments on others that are unbalanced and unhealthy in order to get the energy we cannot give ourselves. This altars the balance of the overall shared energy in the relationship. When energy is exchanged at such a low vibration, it can make us uncomfortable and cause discord in the relationship in the form of spats, fights, or even breakups. Further, when we are running the energy from unhealthy attachments through our bodies, we fail to see the impact this mitigation process has on us because we are honed in on how the energy exchange (aka the relationship) is making us feel. This leads to poor overall health. If one person is using up more energy than the other in the relationship, an imbalance occurs. Consider this scenario and remember that the energetic cord’s ultimate goal is to keep a balance of energy; If a person with whom you share a cord is balancing out at a different resonance than you, the cord will begin an exchange of energy to achieve a balanced between both sources. Some of your energy will be transferred to the other person in order to raise their emotional state and create an equilibrium of life force between the two of you. If you are not able to source your own energy from within, this natural process can create a draining effect on both you and the energetic relationships in which you operate. If we are unable to recognize when we are pulling energy from others in order to meet our own emotional needs, we are missing the opportunity to learn how to be emotionally independent and sovereign. When we decide to source our own energies for emotional fulfillment, and when we decide to clear or detach our energetic cords from others (as needed and necessary), we begin to clear ourselves of false beliefs, relationships that no longer serve us, and ineffective perceptions that die away as the cords are cleansed or released. Unplugging doesn’t have to mean that we are throwing each other away or removing ourselves from the relationship. It is merely the process of reclaiming our energy for ourselves so that we can operate at our highest potential every moment of every day. Once we have detached our cords from those we do not need to give our energies any longer, we begin to more fully source our life force energy from within, which in turn requires the other person to do the same. Additionally, by doing our energetic work and keeping our emotional, mental, and spiritual vessels clear, we can produce enough of our own energy, and when we use it at a logical and reasonable rate, we are then able to keep our physical bodies clean, clear, and healthy. An energetic cord is just that, a cord of electricity with a single purpose, to mitigate its electrical charge for the most optimal balance possible. If you find yourself drained of energy after leaving certain people or situations and are ready to reclaim your full energy source for your own fulfillment and growth, you have plenty of options. Cord clearings, ceremonies and rituals, energy healing, Soul work, and energy charts can help you release what you no longer need and take back what is you and yours! - An Awakening Planet: Raising Your Own Vibration to Heal the Vibration of the Planet
By Jamelle Zablow-Moloney Watching the world change is something many don't slow down to engage in until they are nearing retirement age, have grandkids, or become too ill to keep up with our fast-paced society. Considering what our forefathers, ancestors, and great-grandparents had to endure, it is easy to see that we have it made in comparison; however, with triumph comes surprise challenges, some that no one anticipated. With our stabilized system of medical treatment, we have an increase in life span and a reduced illness-related and pregnancy-related death rate, which has led to such a significant overpopulation that we are now creating and dispersing old and novel viruses at the pandemic level. With such rapidly advancing technology, we have improved efficiency across all sectors of life, yet at the same time, have introduced to the developing mind of children a tool that stunts cognitive and social growth and also has devastating and lasting effects on the mental health of adults. BUT FEAR NOT! WE ARE AWAKENING! One amazing thing that has revealed itself due to our recent pandemic is the individual's drive to get, be, and stay well. Never before has the general population shifted from isolation to a longing for positive energy and forward-moving action. Here in America, our Civil Rights Movement has taken up stance again and brought to the surface multiple channels of renewal for lasting change, including police and policy reform, advocacy for the previously incarcerated, and revised public school curriculum. Each day, we run into more clients, friends, colleagues, and strangers seeking fulfillment and peace. This is the forward movement our planet needs. That deep longing in each of us that calls out the dirty energies that keep us bogged down with bad moods and rude attitudes. This is where our energy bodies come in! As You Heal, I Too Heal. As I Heal, You Too Heal. There is an old Reiki saying: As you heal, I too heal. It's actually the name of the Reiki Manuals that I have written because nothing more could be closer to the truth. Here's why: As my energy is healed, my auric layers and physical body begin to vibrate at a rate that makes me feel more balanced, making me feel and experience life in a way that allows me to mingle peacefully with the planet and others. As I bring balance to myself, I then bring balance to situations, and in turn help to balance the experience of others. This balancing effect helps us all to mitigate our energetic fluctuations and moods as we go through our day. This is the importance of staring with the self. As we produce energy, we shed it as well, ever so slightly, leaving our energetic imprints everywhere we go. Our energetic imprints are all unique and are like ripples in the pond, they have a lasting effect on all of the spaces and beings we are near at all times. Think about that for a second. If I am feeling a certain way, my emotion, which holds a resonance, will be read by the energy circulating in the room, informing all of the other individuals in that room. This is why we can feel the burden of a friend who is struggling as soon as they enter the room. This resonant phenomena doesn't stop there, though! It can even travel over space and time to inform you of when a loved one is struggling across the globe! We are in touch with each other innately, on a level we, here in the states, don't typically acknowledge. But now we are armed with the knowledge. Now we know the details of how the system works, and now we can work it so it can work better! We are all on an inherent search to feel contentment and safety. It is in our human nature. It is why we seek the things that make us happy. However, as a society, we must refrain from obtaining this happiness at the cost of others. The planet needs us more than ever now. Our cultures around the world suffer tremendously from violence, exposure to damaging media, and policy that cannot manage mass populations. The hope lies within ourselves. To focus on your own healing is, in turn, an act of planetary healing. Never underestimate the power of a clean energy body walking! For tips and tricks about how to start your self-healing journey, I suggest energy work and meditation. If you are interested in diving deep, check out some of my classes: Living Your Life Through Intention, Sacred Rhythms, and Clearing Your Cord of Expectations There are also free resources on my site to help you navigate tough situations and chakra education, and as always, energy work is a simple, effortless way to start down your journey, and appointments only start at $65 for each session! - Mars, Post Battle Abundance: The Planetary Aids Series
Mars: The Planetary Aids Series Jamelle Zablow-Moloney 2.4.2024 Join me for a year of planetary study with The Planetary Aids Series! This blog will be dedicated to getting to know each of our influencing planets through both Science and Tradition. At every position in the sky, there are influential energies flowing in from each planet. Stay aware that depending on which constellation the planets are passing through, their influences will be impacted by the governing traits of that zodiac archetype. This month we will be exploring the traits and influences of Mars. Discovered to the human race in 1610 by Galilei, Mars, first in his name, Roman God of War and Agriculture, brings abundance from his onset of plight and misery. Although this hefty neighbor sees us into war and can incite aggression in us when life gets on our nerves as it passes closer by, it also provides a bountiful harvest once the war is over. Abundant with the riches of life's lesson and Spiritual growth, Mars sends us on our way with a deeper understanding of ourselves and life around us through the eyes of opposition. Mars amplifies all of our characteristics, beneficial, null and harmful alike. It impacts us daily just as the sun and moon do because it is a direct neighbor, being only a hop, skip and a jump away at 49 million miles from Earth. Mars' surface is red from its iron oxide topsoil, which erupts into violent dust storms, much as its deity head did as he led the Romans into war on the back of his "masculine" hallmark. Mars, the Roman god of war leaked what we call today, masculine traits; the traits of hard physical work, loyalty, the art of giving, and an ambience of protection and progression. These traits were not necessarily defined as "masculine" then as they are now, but were rather referred to in accordance to the god they manifested in. Minerva, whom eventually replaced Mars as the chief god of war, was a perfect opposition to him, as she was the god of cunning, strategy, and collaboration. Together these two would have ruled the universe through strategic conquer, had the Romans worshiped them together. It can be alarming that Mars is said to "bring war." No one wants war, however, in its practical use, when the planet is in its influence, what it brings is a challenge for us to overcome and then to learn from. One of the most prominent traits of Mars the god was that through war, he would bring abundance, riches, and a lucky crop year. So next time Mars is overhead and shinning directly at your backyard, thank it for the hard lessons you learned on that day because they were there to teach you into your richness, your fullness, and your abundance! And yes, challenges can be challenging, but don't let that Mars energy overtake you. Remember, the hard times don't last, just like the good times, and the only way is up when you're at the bottom. Balance the Mars influence, and your fiery temper that may come with it, with more of the opposing traits (those we now call feminine traits), such as self care, calming, an openness to receive, nurture, practices of sustenance, and mediation. Stay focused on the bountiful glory that awaits you at the end of each trial, and sink into a deeper understanding of yourself and life around you with each experience. As this beautiful planet passes overhead and through your birth houses consider the following questions to get the most out of these energies: What are you working on right now? Is there anything standing in your way? What is your fastest path forward? What do you need to work on letting go of in order to take that fastest path? Short Synopsis of each Planet: Pluto rules Scorpio and is the planet of alchemy, transformation, life & death, healing, obsession, rebirth, evolution, extremes, opposites, balance, and spirituality. - Saturn, Ruler of Time and Structure: The Planetary Aids, Planets Series
Saturn: The Planetary Aids, Planets Series Jamelle Zablow-Moloney 10.2.2023 Join me for a year of planetary study with The Planetary Aids, Planets Series! This blog will be dedicated to getting to know each of our influencing planets through both Science and Tradition. Join me here to learn about a different planet for the next six months! At every position in the sky, there are influential energies flowing in from each planet. This article will explore the influences felt by each planet, including Pluto. Stay aware that depending on which constellation the planets are passing through, their influences will be impacted by the governing traits of that zodiac archetype. This month we will be exploring the traits and influences of Saturn. Saturn is the lord of time and structure, guiding our senses to plan, organize, and work through our tasks in logical order and timing. In many cultures worldwide, we operate according to linear structures, however, life occurs and experiences are felt in a cyclical manner. This is where Saturn jumps in to save the day, by providing us the organic structures of the cycles to aid in our growth. Saturn can impact us by strengthening our ability and tendencies to stay on schedule and stay organized, or it can impact us by throwing us off our schedule with chance circumstances and unexpected events. Either way, the path to guide you through is knowing about its structural impact and how to come into alignment with the planet's influences so that its impact on you is a beneficial one. Saturn orbits the sun completely over a 29.5-year cycle. Its impact on the planet and us is a slow one that is typically felt all the time, which is why it is difficult to see and feel that it is impacting us at all. Seen for the first time through a telescope in 1610, Saturn is visible to the naked eye, especially when it dances close to the moon. Saturn's Greek mirror is Cronus, the God of Time, who is attributed to raising the Olympians. Satrun himself is the Greek God of Agriculture, ruling over the season changes and cycles of time of the known universe. Saturn influences our world in terms of discipline, authority, time, structure, boundaries, and limitations. Because Saturn's influences reach us for years at a time, we can feel its impact when we encounter a new structure that requires us to change how we do things. This may look like getting a new job or a new boss at a job you were comfortable and secure with. Saturn can help to bring about circumstances that teach us how to hold the right schedule and structures for our highest well-being, and it can also provide us support in deciding what creates comfort and happiness for us. Saturn is a constant in our lives due to its large and slow orbit. When Saturn is in retrograde, its influence can flip on us, giving off the opposite energies that it does when it is traveling directly. This occurs when the giant planet is reaching us from the other side of Earth. When passing through your birth sign constellation, if it provides you stability and structure, focus on that stability and the pieces of it that would benefit you to carry on outside of Satrun's influence. What pieces of your Saturn experience can you apply to your everyday? If Satrun's influence on you is a turbulent one, hold fast to the routine and structure that you already have in your life, and stay self-disciplined to keep yourself on track when Saturn is either moving through your birth constellation or in retrograde. As this beautiful planet passes overhead and then through your birth house (your Zodiac sign), consider the following questions to get the most out of his energies: What pieces of your Saturn experience can you apply to your everyday? What structures and routines do you need to hold fast to when Saturn is retrograding or passing through your constellation? When getting quiet and spending meditative time with Saturn, what does the ringed planet have to tell you? Short Synopsis of each Planet: Pluto rules Scorpio and is the planet of alchemy, transformation, life & death, healing, obsession, rebirth, evolution, extremes, opposites, balance, and spirituality. Neptune, ruling over Pisces, influences dreamland, impacting addiction and mistaken impressions. Neptune sharpens connection and intuition. - Plant-Based Medicine for Cold Season
by Jamelle Zablow-Moloney January 27, 2024 Plants have an amazing ability to heal us with a gentle ease and minimal to zero side effects. Many times when we feel that we are having a side effect from a plant-based substance it is either due to a rebalancing of the body's systems, or an interaction with the medications we are taking. This is why I always recommend drinking a variety of herbal teas and eating a variety of foods that support the immune functions of the body during the cold season. In this way, the use of natural remedies for the remediation of viral and bacterial infections will not compound into side effects that leave you suspicious of the beautiful healing power of plants! The following is a list of plants I frequently use in my teas to combat the viral and bacterial infections my family and I encounter. Tea Tree, Nutmeg, Yarrow, Cinnamon, Motherwort, Gendarussa, and Mint all support respiratory health through their antimicrobial effect on the body. The terpenoids present in each of these plants are responsible for their antimicrobial properties. For preventative medicine to avoid respiratory ailments, I would recommend cycling through the plants presented here: Frankincense and Tea Tree would both be good candidates to take via essential oil diffusion through inhalation. Both essential oils need to be diluted and run the risk of contact dermatitis when applied topically. Dizziness, lightheadedness, and nausea could occur if ingested, however, if not ingested, there would be no other side effects. Frankincense contains expectorant properties, preventing inflammation, and carries antibacterial and anti-fungal properties to help fight infection of the mucous. Coneflower can be brewed into tea and taken a few times a week if there is no allergy to the Echinacea family. It is not recommended to take Echinacea when drinking coffee, as it impacts the rate at which the caffeine breaks down in the body. Echinacea should not be taken with immunosuppressants but does a great job of supporting the immune system by reducing fever and providing antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and immunostimulant properties. Goldenseal is a great option for preventative treatment and is considered safe if you are not pregnant or breastfeeding. It is easily grown and readily available, and its benefits abound in the immune system as it provides inflammation relief, kills fungal and bacterial pathogens, and relieves stomach upset and diarrhea to relieve flu symptoms. Mullein Leaf has an antiviral effect that allows it to protect against the influenza virus. All of its active components have anti-inflammatory effects as well. Mullein grows easily across the globe, and currently, there are no known side effects or interactions with other medications. Mullein should be taken with caution according to recommended amounts from reputable sources. Clove is an expectorant when chewed, thinning out the phlegm in the throat, giving it a decongestive effect. Clove is also an anti-inflammatory and can act as a local muscle relaxer when chewed, which is how it assists in the passage of phlegm. Marshmallow has anti-inflammatory and immune-supporting properties. This plant contains polyphenols that coat mucous membranes found in the respiratory tract, allowing the mucous to be more easily passed through the body and promoting immune recovery. Marshmallow has also been shown to protect and assist in the migration of macrophages within the body, further promoting recovery and immune support. Goji berries are free radical scavengers and exhibit their antioxidant properties through their conduction of metal chelation throughout the body and by activating other antioxidant mechanisms. To achieve its cough suppressant effects, it is recommended to take the Goji berry syrup. Lemon balm is a good option to treat the common cold because it is readily available in most communities and produces antimicrobial, antispasmodic, and antioxidant effects when ingested as a tea, tincture, or supplement, and even when inhaled as an essential oil. Lemon balm improves immunity, relaxes the mind and body, treats insomnia and indigestion, and even relieves pain. Lemon balm’s phenolic, muscarinic acid, is responsible for its antiviral properties. The plant’s antispasmodic properties are due to its ability to fight inflammation and relax the muscles, which comes from the presence of its phenolics. I hope this information has found you well and can provide you some relief if you are in need of some quick cold and flu remedies. - Quantum Healing
12.4.2023 With Bare Roots Energy Today's common knowledge is that the planet is shifting, and with it, humanity. Go tell it on the mountain! I can feel it, you can feel it, we can all see simply by looking out our windows. From the way we communicate to the way we act out our understandings, what some call a New Earth and others call 5D, a mass of energy is on the incoming, and we are on the end to receive. As our DNA collectively shifts to a higher vibrational expression of ourselves, we can very easily find ourselves in the grips of debasing change. The feeling that the floor is falling out from under you is never a pleasant one. While the energetic grids of the planet and atmosphere work to balance out the Earth's physical state, there are still a vast number of safety nets that we as individuals can employ for ourselves during the transition that is afoot. If we take a moment to research our daily news, we can find hits of good news here and there, and while the media is choosy, our path to raising each other, lifting our own vibration, and helping the Earth heal is still an uphill climb, and doesn't need to fall in the patterns that today's industry and media push us towards. What can we do? We can start at home. For those of you with daily practices, and for those of you who feel the pull to get into a daily practice for your energy body, NOW IS THE TIME! FIND YOUR TOOLS! The name of the game is to raise that vibration ladies and gentlemen, or else it will be raised for you through the natural consequences of your daily actions and decisions. By making the conscious effort however to engage in daily energetic practices, you take control, rather than letting life control you! The quantum universe is dually infinite in its smallness and expansiveness, and you, my friend, with your human body and your human experience, are not exempt from that reality. Because our DNA spirals with the makings of Fibonacci, our very strands are repeated in all of the material in all of the spaces, wherever we are, always. We cannot escape what makes us up, and now that energy is on the forefront of everyone's tongues in the 21st Earth century AD, we enter into a new age of amazing experiences and different forms of healing modalities. Tools that have been helpful along this woman's path Since I was young, in my household, meditation, or bringing the body and intentions to stillness, has been a regular practice in the face of frustration, nervousness, and stress. My parents preached it, our church preached it, and my parents' friends preached it. The headshop downtown preached it, and so did the bookstore next to that head shop! As I aged I gravitated towards friends who emanated that calm. It was practice in action. Coming at me from angles, I was programmed to give my thanks and understand that what was inside of me was just as infinite as what was outside of me- and for that I am absolutely thankful. It saved me a ton of time! Today to achieve that instant and consistent peace, I have several practices that I stick with because they work for me, according to my experience and trauma histories. In that way, we are all different. When people tell you to do what works for you... WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN? Finding what works for you in a regular spiritual or energetic practice can take a few different routes. We can experiment with all of the spiritual tools and gurus available to us today online in the corners of our communities. To get the biggest bang for your buck when you start to trust others as mentors and knowledgeable individuals behind the counter, this approach requires you to do your research and experience a journey of ups and downs as you find tools that you like, and some that you don't. Another approach is more simple than that, however. Find out what you need first. A surefire way of being led to the practices that will serve you the best is to do your inner work while you are on the hunt. It is a matter of getting to the roots of your needs in order to identify the tools that will serve you the best. Once this fork of your journey begins, the research that you pour into finding the perfect yoga instructor, therapist, or Reiki master will most certainly lead to exactly where you need to go! How to get started Do your soul work, your shadow work, whatever you want to call it, dig those big emotions out. This is the purpose of the monthly women's circle I run. This work can be done, however, in any way that serves you the best, be it crying in the shadow, journaling, or taking a walk on a trail. This is where we start because this is where trauma heals. Once that trauma starts to come up and out of us, our nervous system experiences a pathway of clarity that we won't be able to stop building upon. THAT'S IT. Personally, as a practitioner and humbled healing human being, I don't want to be preached at about all of the things I could be doing to better my energetic self, so I'm not going to do that here. You know where to find me. However, here is your starting point. It is within you. Clean that spiral out from within your core being, and the energy from all of creation will flow through you like the waterfall that you need to bring your dreams to life. The new Quantum Healing series of energetic treatments is here to facilitate your daily energetic cleansings. These healings work with your body from the inside out to awaken your higher energies and connect you to the grids that carry you throughout your every day. If you are interested in the Quantum Energetic Healing Sessions I offer, please visit www.barerootsenergy.com/quantumhealing to book an appointment. If you'd like some ideas, conversation, or direction on your way to find a productive daily practice for your quantum body, I am only a text, call, or email away with a variety of daily tools to pile into your basket. In the meantime, Happy Healing, from Jamelle @ Bare Roots Energy
- Jupiter, Governor and Goddess of Abundance & Expansion: The Planetary Aids Series
Jupiter: The Planetary Aids Series Jamelle Zablow-Moloney 11.3.2023 Join me for a year of planetary study with The Planetary Aids Series! This month we will be exploring the traits and influences of Jupiter. Jupiter was discovered by Galileo in 1610. It is 4.5 billion years old and knows more about God's secrets than any of us ever will. Jupiter formed by sucking up most of the debris from the Sun when the galaxy was formed, which is ironic since it was the Roman God who planned the assassination of his father as revenge for swallowing his siblings. Apples really don't fall far from the tree. Because of its refusal to share a chunk of the celestial energies of creation with its brother and sister planets, Jupiter became and remains the largest planet with one of the largest ethereal impacts on our energetic lives. Jupiter offers us a shortcut from our previous tasks, lessons, and functions, to our rising life, which is the sweet spot of adulthood after we've gotten all of our trash together and out of the way! Jupiter has a direct influence over Scorpio, regardless of where our Scorpio is in our chart, as well as Pisces. Jupiter focuses its energies towards our human travels, both physical and astral, and assembles the pieces of optimism, abundance, expansion, and growth for us. When Jupiter is influencing our Sun sign, we get a boost in confidence each time we take a step in the right direction. Named for the Roman god, King of gods, Jupiter was the head figure in the Pantheon. His Greek counterpart is Zeus, both ruling over the realm of the gods as ever-watchful leaders of the pack, deligating the influence of the lesser Gods onto the will of those here on Earth. Jupiter was worshipped as the sky god, the god of light and Spirit, and the force responsible for the rising and setting sun. For this reason, it was worshiped to bless the bountiful harvest. Jupiter has been worshiped for almost everything responsible for our existence here on Earth. It has been called the protector of the Romans, Fulgr, and the defender of truth, Fidius. As the god of rain, Pluvius, Jupiter was granted the power over the heavens, the sky, thunder, and really just all of our weather patterns, influencing all of the mental energies of the air realm. This is why we question our faith in all of creation when Jupiter brings a storm into our lives. The physical planet Jupiter that we all know so well, shining as one of the brightest "stars" in our night sky, has no hard surface, a trait responsible for the wishy-washy feeling you get when its impact is in play. Jupiter does have many rings, faint, but plentiful, asking us to take opportunities granted to use during its cycles of influence, as it directs our travels forward. Jupiter's rings, enforcing the cycles of life, bring us growth. Pluto: The Planetary Aids, Planets Series Jamelle Zablow-Moloney 5.23.2023.8 Join me for a year of planetary study with my new blog series: The Planetary Aids, Planets Series! This month we will be exploring the traits and influences of Uranus Uranus was the first planet found with a telescope in 1781 by William Herschel. The planet is named for the Greek god Uranus or Ouranos, God of the Sky. Uranus is the only planet named for a Greek god rather than a Roman figure because the Romans did not consider Uranus to be a planet due to its slow orbit around the Sun. Uranus orbits the Sun one time every 84 years. Its days are 17 hours and 14 minutes long, and it is a mass of water, methane, and ammonia. Because its tilt is so close to the Sun, it cycles through extreme weather and extreme seasons lasting for 20 years at a time. The atmosphere on Uranus rains diamonds, and every seven years after the planet travels past the Sun, it experiences its most violent storms as it purges all that it picked up from the celestial holding tanks on its way through the galaxy. Due to these extremes, we ourselves can feel this off-balance energy when we are experiencing the planet's impact as Uranus drifts overhead. Uranus' rings are especially important to the influences it imparts on us during its rounds because their energies impact all signs and, thus, all humans. The planet has two major rings, a dark and a light ring, and 11 secondary outer rings, each one playing its integral role in the alchemical cycle of the 13-month Archetypal energies. Like a massive machine, Uranus orbits our Galaxy's core with a command of the libraries of each of our Moon cycles, holding the knowledge of our solar system, an archive of its interactions within each Zodiac sign, and the secrets of the universe within its rings. Each month, as our planet travels through each Archetypal zone, Uranus' rings spin in the new energies of the entire Zodiac wheel rather than just a single one, as most of the other planets do. Uranus has ever reaching impact on our Planet, Earth, as well as all other planets in our solar system, mimicked by Ouranos's impact on his own time and people. Ouranos' body stretched across the night sky, from East to West, along the masculine line of our directional medicine wheel, covering Earth with his blanket of prowess and uncertainty. In the times of our ancestors, Ouranos' impact spread wide and far for the entire night, leaving many to retreat indoors to their homes as the nighttime could come alive and swallow them whole. This trait of Uranus is what causes it to bring in big shifts, abrupt changes, erratic behavior, and unpredictability so quickly and unexpectedly. Uranus has significant impacts on extremes and breakthroughs and promotes limitless abundance if you are manifesting in your forward direction. It is always good to have your ducks in a row when entering under Uranus' influence. During these times, the outsider will feel at home, and all of us will experience events and instances that pull us out of our comfort zone for the right change and growth. The blessing of Uranus prepares us and causes us to experience drastic change, and then sees us through the very transition. Keep an eye on your coping mechanisms, random events, and how you handle surprises when under the influence of Uranus to see how the planet's energies treat you. Just as Ouranos dominates his time on Earth as a male and stretches across our sky along the Male axis from East to West, Uranus influences these male lines as well. Uranus will easily influence our own male energies the most, yet it will impact us with its duality as well. Uranus, when in play, will impact with a male-heavy dominant energy or a female-dominant energy, depending on which part of its orbit it is in when it passes through. These dominant energies impact us in such a way that may make us feel a little off-kilter for a short time due to the planet's extreme axis tilt. Use these cycles of masculine-heavy and feminine-heavy influences to nurture your ideas and to listen and learn new ways to act upon them. Is the influence of Uranus providing you with forward movement and growth or holding you in stagnation? Uranus will influence us when it passes by our Moon or Sun and when it passes through your zodiac zone or the zodiac zone the sun is in. Do they change your mood and take hold of your perspective, attitude, and vision? Neptune: The Planetary Aids, Planets Series Jamelle Zablow-Moloney 8.8.2023 Join me for a year of planetary study with The Planetary Aids, Planets Series! This month we will be exploring the traits and influences of Neptune. Neptune is the Roman God of the Sea and all waters. He controls the weather and the winds as well, holding sway over our ebb and flow of emotional response and introspection. As a planet, Neptune takes 165 Earth years to orbit the Sun, with a day that lasts 16 hours and 14 Moons to boot. Neptune was a compassionate father to his 14 children, nurturing their inner growth and working alongside them. As God of the Water Door, Neptune brings comfort and balance, washing away our debris and wounds, eroding what is holding up the structures which hinder us, and smoothing out our rough edges over time. When Neptune and his siblings were born, they were all eaten by their father, Saturn, who had the wind of a prophecy that told him he would meet his demise at the hand of one of his children. However, all of them survived when Saturn's wife, Opis, fed him a rock swaddled in a baby's blanket. Jupiter threw all of his children up and usurped him, splitting the kingdoms amongst themselves. This horrific yet triumphant experience feeds the nurturing side of Neptune. The planet itself is a ball of atmosphere and liquids. It holds little to no physical land, reflecting like a mirror, Neptune's own place amongst his political colleagues. As the God of the Seas, he had no formal place in the state house; he held true to his wardance over the waterways and played a role closer to his human counterparts than his Godly colleagues. When Neptune is in celestial play, our intuition is strengthened, and our compassionate sides are expressed more easily. Times of Neptune's passing bring us spiritual insight, stronger dreams, and inspiration. As this beautiful planet passes overhead and then through your birth house (your Zodiac sign), consider the following questions to get the most out of his energies: Inventory your own inspiration and Spiritual Growth. Is it in good health? Is it moving you along to finding a right path, or is it stagnant in the pond? If it is stagnant, what is in the way? Inventory your acts of compassion. How do you express compassion towards yourself and others? Where can you insert more compassion into your life? What do you need to refine, cleanse, and beautify in your life? What are some areas of your life that you refuse to conform to? What are some areas that you could conform to more in order to make things go more smoothly while still holding onto your sovereignty? Stay aware that depending on which constellation the planets are passing through, their influences will be impacted by the governing traits of that zodiac archetype. This month we will be exploring the traits and influences of Pluto Pluto was declassified as a planet on August 24th, 2006, but it is still close enough to Earth to impact our subtle energy bodies. Pluto sits in the Kuiper Belt and is about a fifth of the Earth's size. It takes Pluto 248 Earth years to orbit the sun once, orbiting in a deep elliptical shape, traveling very far away from the sun for most of its travels. Ancient Greece tells us that Pluto plays a part of a dual role as the god of the underworld. Pluto is the positive personification of the god of the underworld, providing an abundance of crops and minerals as he rules the Earth and dirt space that nourishes both. Hades is, then, the negative personification of the ruler of the underworld, providing the world with the energies of consequence, vengeance, and justice. This strength of transition that comes from the cycling of life and death feeds Pluto with the energies it imposes on our galactic imprints. Pluto influences the house of Scorpio the most but influences us all by infusing us with the curiosity of alchemy and evolution. Pluto influences our lives through opportunities for transformation, healing, and balancing by feeding our Spiritual bodies with insights that will steer us in these particular directions. To celebrate Pluto, when this planet is moving through your birth sign in the night sky, take stock of what opportunities for transformation sit in front of you. What do you need to let go of or burn off? What are already moving out of? What changes will that cause? What opportunities will it bring? What parts of your life need balancing? Journal with Pluto to find out how you can make this happen. - The Rub on Herbal Supplement Regulation
by Jamelle Zablow-Moloney 24 March, 2023 The United States has a wobbly history with herbal supplements. There is a large air of distrust in the industry due to a lack of regulation, as well as a lack of use in the country’s medical system as a whole. Herbal supplements are not integrated into the formal heal care structure of the United States, yet thrive in use, research, and understanding in other countries across the globe. Herbal supplements are integrated and widely accepted in various forms in Africa, In comparison, Europe, North and South America, and Asia. India’s healthcare system is integrated with the ancient art of Ayurveda, which inherently includes the regular use and consumption of medicinal plants. In Europe, the use of herbal supplements is more integrated into the formal medical model, and the practice is more widely accepted, making the use of herbal supplementation a common practice. The majority of the African continent flowers with the use of medicinal herbs and other plants and is also found to have the practice integrated into modern medical systems. In China, Traditional Chinese Medicine makes use of prescribing herbal supplements and is integrated into the modern medical system as it is in Japan and many other Asian countries. Pharmaceuticals are highly regulated in the United States. Training, research, facility codes, testing, labeling, medical supplies; all tools and practices involved in America’s traditional health care model is regulated to the T. Medicine bottles are required to give you dosage instructions and warnings. There is a rigorous process of approval required by the FDA, and prescribing individuals have a required amount of training to complete before they are allowed to prescribe. Herbal supplements, however, are more thoroughly regulated in many countries worldwide in comparison to the United States. In the United States, supplements are considered to be unsafe until they are proven safe (1). In the United States, all herbal supplements fall under the regulation of the DSHEA Act, the Dietary Supplement House, and the Education Act of 1994. Under DSHEA, there is ‘no pre-marketing approval needed, there are no chemical manufacturing controls needed, and there are no marketing reviews needed’ in order for an herbal supplement to reach the consumer market. There is no system of checks and balances in place for an industry that grosses over $10 billion per year in the United States alone. An herbal supplement can hit store shelves without testing, without a third-party review of safety, and without specifying pertinent information about the plant compounds contained within the supplement on its label. Supplements in the United States are widely unregulated, leaving the industry to rely on the trustworthiness of its producers for quality, safe herbal products. Because of this, it is important to do your research about the supplement you are seeking and the company that makes it before you consume it. Choose supplements that are made by reputable companies or companies that delineate the gathering and processing methods of their products to ensure that you are purchasing from individuals who know how to extract and activate the compounds you are seeking to benefit from. - Finding the Right Herbal Supplements
by Jamelle Zablow-Moloney 24 March, 2023 Herbal Supplements are a great way to reap the benefits that this beautiful planet has given us. Here in the United States, we have a rocky relationship with Herbal Supplementation. This article addresses how to safely choose your herbal supplements when adding plant-based medicinal compounds to your health journey. When shopping for supplements, it is important to know about the regulatory system of medicinal plants and supplements if you are living in the United States. This background is a great informer of how diligently you should research the supplements you want to try. You can learn more about the United States regulatory system as it is applied to herbal supplements in a separate blog post here. Best practice when using herbal supplements is to first consult with your healthcare provider to ensure that you are taking the right supplement at the right dosage and frequency. It is imperative to know how the supplement will interact with other supplements, OTCs, and prescription medicines that you are taking. Supplements can cause health risks when used with other herbs and medications. They can increase or decrease the effectiveness of other substances, and they can increase or decrease the side effects of substances. Other good resources for this type of information include the Mayo Clinic and Consumer Reports. Being well-informed about the herb's medicinal nature and the recommended dosage and use of the supplement you want to take is a must before purchase. Much of the time, you will run into supplement labels that: contain a mixture of herbal compounds, contain a low dose of the compound you are seeking, have a requirement to consume multiple capsules/pills each day, contain various derivatives of the compound you seek or derive the compound from various sources, and do not label their source of the compound, how it was processed, or even if it is active. Do your due diligence in researching what you want to take and the best way to benefit from it before hitting the supplement market. Further, it is a very good idea to add only one new product at a time when trying new herbal supplements so that you can easily see the effects it will have on you before adding another. Reading the label thoroughly will help you determine if the dosage of the supplement you are buying contains an effective amount of your desired compound. Because there is very little regulation surrounding the labeling of herbal supplements, it is important to know what to look for. When purchasing a new herbal supplement, seek brands that label their products with a transparent mindset. A healthy herbal supplement label will give dosage recommendations and cautionary advice on the use of the supplement alone, as well as with other medicines, natural or pharmaceutical. Your supplement’s label should note the amount of the compound in each capsule or pill, all additives and other ingredients used in creating the product, and a quality seal of approval from a third-party reviewer. Just as pharmaceutical labels do, a supplement label should contain a warning for pregnant or nursing mothers, as well as any known and common side effects. It is wise to pay close attention to the label for dosage instructions and to look for a daily maximum dosage recommendation. If the supplement label you are exploring does not list this information, it is important to research how much of the plant compound is recommended in your daily diet, any possible side effects and medical interactions that could arise, and the recommended frequency of the supplement. It is important to read the label in search of additive ingredients that may contain allergens. Many products are made with soy capsules, for example, creating a sensitivity or allergic reaction in those who cannot have soy. Other ingredients and information of this type may or may not be labeled on your supplement’s packaging, making the need for a supplement background check almost imperative before purchase. When reading labels on supplement packaging, you must be aware that due to a lack of regulatory standards, there may be properties and ingredients in the compounds that are not listed on the label. The label can also be a misrepresentation of the dosage present in the supplements. Supplements can contain DNA from others plants or animals, causing allergic reactions or interference with cultural and religious practices. Today there are many reputable companies and individuals who make herbal supplement products and who can inform consumers of the best way to benefit from plant-based medicines. According to Verified Market Research, Nature's Bounty and Gia Herbs are two companies leading in industry standards, and I personally enjoy the instruction of Claude Davis's The Lost Book of Remedies when working with raw herbs. To summarize your Supplement shopping, do your research and check your labels: Check with your doctor if you can to collect as much information about the supplement, possible interactions and side effects, and dosage details Research the herbal supplement you are interested in taking to find recommended dosage and frequency amounts from a reputable source. Check the supplement label for: dosage instructions a third-party quality stamp cautionary or warning advice the correct (or close to) amount of the compound per daily dosage an honest list of ingredients with the amount of the compound you are seeking per dose common and known side effects a description of what the compound is used for, and other information about how to use it properly contact information for the company Sources: 1. - Finding Love through Finding Balance
Finding love is hard. And once you have it, it can be even harder to maintain. Healthy and satisfying relationships require a balance between those involved; however, self-responsibility has to come first. Self-responsibility is found through finding your own balance and then tweaking that balance as needed when you enter into a relationship. It doesn't always happen in this discrete and simple order, but it is as necessary to a successful relationship as the moon phases are to the tides. Without an internal balance, we are unable to see how our actions, thoughts, perceptions, and feelings impact our decisions and reactions. Without a clear self-awareness of these aspects of our character, it is difficult for us to see and accept others as they are. Consider the following strategies for finding balance in your life, and reflect on how these techniques or others can help you improve your own balance and, thus, the love you bring into your life through all of your relationships. 1. Find Self Love First If you don't like yourself, you'll probably find it really hard to have a stable relationship that is joyful and as fulfilling as it could be. Everyone has things about themselves they don't like, but regularly partaking in thoughts of self-loathing will cause this inner mood to impact all aspects of your life. Here's one avenue to approach from: figure out what it is you need; figure out what it is you want. Are you loving yourself while trying to fulfill your wants and needs? If not, why? What characteristic is it that you don't love? Is it something you can change even if you don't want to? What would your life be like if that character trait was different? What can you do to change it? If you cannot change it, will changing your mindset toward it help? Are you truly aligned with your needs and wants? Sit down with these questions time and time again to weed out the things that are causing you malcontent. Writing out your answer to these questions will open up your pathway to self-love. 2. Slow Down Slowing down one thing in your life can have an exponential impact on your day-to-day experiences. This may sound impossible, but it can be a very plausible route when you move in baby steps! What would happen if you stopped rushing just one of your regular activities? Let's take, for example, rushing out the door in the morning on your way to work. Do you do this every morning? Isn't it exhausting? What would happen if you just decided one day not to rush through that process? Perhaps the first few days, you'll be late to work, but you'll adjust or lose your job. Why try this? To get the stress out of the routine. That is why we want to stop rushing at all, with all activities- to take the stress out of the situation. After you are adjusted to moving at a reasonable pace and managing your time more calmly in the morning, you'll find yourself more at ease in the morning, and then you'll take that ease to work with you, giving yourself the opportunity to observe the ripple effect slowing down has on your life. 3. Remove Distractions What are you spending your time doing? Are you rushed because you have too much to do and not enough time to do it? Many of us are in this position daily, and yet we need our downtime too. Don't forget to keep a reasonable balance between downtime and work, and stay aware of yourself. Downtime is a healing time but becomes misused when we spend that time escaping and avoiding the difficulties in our lives. Are you taking a reasonable amount of downtime or escaping through your outlet of choice? If you find yourself escaping into your chosen outlet in an unbalanced way, you'll find that removing one distraction at a time will open you up to making more intentional decisions, which in turn will allow you to guide your life rather than just be swept away by it. Once you remove a distraction, fill that spot with your Soul Work. Doing this will help you to naturally slow yourself down, manage time better, and stay in balance with yourself and the planet. Don't believe me? Try it for 30 days! 4. Remove Clutter Removing clutter from your spaces and home is a ceremony of cleansing. As you cleanse out the space you dwell in, so too does your inner space empty out of things it no longer needs. Throw that junk out and declutter your life. Having too much stuff can be overstimulating, which keeps us surrounded by stress. Manage it by re-evaluating what you need, and once things are cleaned up, you'll find it easier to slow down and stay in balance. 5. Add in Personal Ceremony (to celebrate the self) Personal Ceremony is a great way to begin or strengthen the cycle of self-love and to jump-start a healing journey. As you practice keeping sacred time and sacred space for yourself, you not only open yourself up to a set aside time to do your Soul Work, but you also remind yourself that you're an integral part of all that is around you. Staying consistent with Personal Ceremony reminds the body that there is an order to the Universe that can be used to heal. Check out my article, The Importance of Ceremony, to learn more about what it means to partake in this sacred dance. 6. Keep a Balanced Diet We all know by now that keeping a balanced diet is essential to keeping a balanced life. We are what we eat, and what we put in our mouths tells our bodies what we think of it. If you want a certain body, you have to eat a certain way. If you want to think with clarity, you have to have a clear gut. Know your body, know your foods, and know your limits to keep a balanced diet and promote a balanced life outside of the body. 7. Pay Attention A part of keeping a balanced life means regulating and monitoring how much time you are spending creating, motivating your efforts, feeling your feelings, and thinking your thoughts. If we become out of balance with these four aspects of our humanness, we find ourselves in disarray and struggling to keep ourselves afloat when things get tough. If you are spending most of your time creating and not enough time reflecting on your thoughts and feelings, your creations will not emanate their potential. If you spend too much time motivating yourself but not enough time thinking and planning it out, you will never create it. All four of these aspects must stay in balance for our overall success. 8. Keep a Balanced Social Life Don't forget, we were not meant to be alone. We are social creatures, and there is therapy in socializing. That's why the cashier at the store was so talkative, and that's why the older gentlemen at the DMV told you his life story. We live in a doing society that doesn't always support the amount of communion we all require for balance and happiness. Sometimes you may have to force yourself to socialize. You may even need to reteach yourself how to start conversations. Look at it as if were an adventure you're going on. Sometimes leaving the house at all can be better than nothing. Keeping a balanced inner self can clear up issues that may be standing in the way of gaining and/or keeping lasting relationships of value. By finding ways to keep yourself in check, you will incorporate healthy habits that allow you to decide who you are compatible with and what types of partners you want to attract. If you are already in a relationship, finding this balance will provide a great tool for growth for each of you individually as well as the relationship as a whole. Thank you for reading. - Moving in Timing with the Seasons
Jamelle Zablow-Moloney 6/2/2022 Summer Solstice Is Upon Us! Summer Solstice arrives on Tuesday, June 21 What is your routine for giving thanks, nurturing, and planning? In my house, we're lucky to get through a single to-do list on any given day. Including our gratitude, self-nurturing, and planning into our schedule has to be absolutely intentional, otherwise these simple, yet imperative steps to our wellness just don't happen. However, we make a point to connect with this Earth because it is our home and we share a symbiotic and energetic relationship with it that requires attention and maintenance. The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year and an opportunity to get the most out of your day, to pamper yourself longer, and to notice how this cycle in the Earth's timings impact you. What does your family do to bring in the change of season? The Summer Solstice also marks a time to celebrate what you have planted, the time to tend to it, nurture it as it needs, and to ensure that appropriate plans are in place. If you're working towards a goal, put this timeline of action into place for a smoother path. By lining up your actions with the timings of the planet, you will then be open to an easier path of manifestation by working with the flow of the planet, rather than against it. Just as nature does, follow in suit: Spring Equinox is for rebirth, renewal, and sowing seeds. Start your projects or your steps towards your goals. Work with the Earth door to bring your ideas to fruition. Summer Solstice is for tending, nurturing, and adjusting. Review how the steps to your goals and your plans are progressing, and adjust them as necessary. Let the fire door refine your projects and intentions to hone in on specific accomplishments. Autumnal Equinox is for harvesting and planning for winter. This is the last leg of your efforts before your goals and projects are completed. Stay the course and keep your faith in the finished product. Let the water door carry you on its clean current to the finish line! Winter Solstice is for giving thanks and enjoying your harvest, reflecting on the completion of your projects and goals, and then planning for Spring. This is a time of reflection, gratitude, and air. Bring in the new season with music, a gratitude list, by creating an altar, by saying or writing a prayer that is special for you, by going to or having a gathering, by creating something new, or simply by reflecting on yourself or your situation with the themes of the equinox or solstice listed above.
- The Art of Eclipsing the Old Self and Transcending into Something New
Jamelle Zablow-Moloney 10.27.22 Transcending, for many, seems to be an impossible feat without consistent and constant dedication to a complete lifestyle change. However, this perception couldn't be further from the truth. Transcending to a higher state of consciousness is something that can be practiced and experienced as many times as one prefers, and achieved through ceremonial celebration, energy healing treatments, meditation practices, and even the simple art of dancing, just to name a few. When we participate in these practices, we essentially dive into our nervous system and begin shoveling out the debris of stress and trauma stored there, making room for a newer more holistic version of our healed self. Transcendence is not an esoteric experience reserved for those who dedicate their lives to a holistic trade, but rather something that you can experience in the comfort of your own home through daily practices of meditation and energy work. When we enter into the silence that both of these paths offer us, we surrender to the noise that keeps us busy and un-noticing of the impact our energy bodies absorb from our day-to-day activity. This surrender is the act of transcending. By engaging in these activities and diving deep enough into ourselves to experience the silent release of physicality, we begin communicating with our paraconscious mind. Our vibration stretches out in a calm awareness through the theta and delta waves that reach beyond our Earthly atmosphere, putting us directly in contact with the universe at large. Transcending through Meditation Meditation brings about the experience of transcending by taking our conscious mind within to meet our subconscious mind. From this inner place, the two pieces of awareness begin to work together to release stressors from our neural net and dive into silence. As we sit either in silent meditation or active meditation, our body enters its relaxed, self-healing state, leaving us with generalized contentions towards daily life and a deeper connection with our inner source of life. This can occur during any type of meditation including forest bathing. Transcendence work is quickest through the route of meditation, as it is a practice that can be done with little instruction and on your own time. Transcending through Energy Work In turn, Reiki and other modalities of energy work can also bring about the experience of transcendence by guiding the body into a meditative state through energetic re-balancing. As you receive treatment, your energy bodies begin to even out as congregated energy is redistributed to where it belongs in and around your body. During this process, the mind typically enters into a super-relaxed state of higher consciousness where you begin to communicate with your Paraconscious and Causaul Auras for a greater capacity to see and create. Self-treatment of Reiki is an excellent and affordable way to make this modality of healing and transcending more readily available to you. Transcending through Ceremony Participating in Ceremony can bring about the experience of transcendence as well by opening up the pathway of communication between the conscious and subconscious minds. This occurs during active dancing as well. Just as dancing activates the major energy centers of the body to bring about a sense of transcended awareness, Ceremony awakens the mind in a similar way by bridging the gateway between the four energy bodies; the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies that encompass our receiving neuro net. Practices of Ceremony bring about deep personal healing, but can also be done collectively as a group, amplifying the physical sensation for us during the event. Transcendence is a human rite to existence, awareness, and growth. Many typical Western traditions support this practice such as going to church and practicing mindfulness. If you are finding yourself in life without such an outlet, perhaps it is time to seek the opportunities open to you, in order to explore how the art of transcending can change your life forever. - Meditation Tips & Tricks #2
Finding it hard to quiet those thoughts down? Let's metacognate! Question yourself! They tell us to question everything, then they tell us to never question ourselves, or higher powers. What are we supposed to do!? We're supposed to guide our thoughts. Meditation isn't just the act of being still for a given amount of time, or experiencing a GOD moment- it is also about using your ability to think and guide your every day subtle practices- thinking being one of them! What a necessary tangle we live in! When you find your mind wandering, practice this trick: Ask yourself "Why am I thinking this?" Asking yourself this often and daily will trigger a process of metacognition; the process of self-reflection / thinking about your thoughts. So, why are you thinking about what Debbie brought for lunch, or why the driver behind you has such big hair? Is thinking about the bugger picker you spied at the last stop light serving you, or wasting your energy? Don't forget, it costs us to produce thoughts. It costs us both calories and mental and emotional energy, just like exercising. Don't waste your energy. Stay on top of those thoughts, meditators! It may not be easy, but the consequences are far more worth it than words or thoughts can describe! Over and Out, Jamelle Bare Roots Energy
- The Cycle of Success, Struggle, Stagnation, and Settling
By Jamelle Zablow-Moloney 11/20/22 Most people just want things to get better. Tired of the struggle and the flood of problems being thrown at us, we are overdone and burnt out. The work week is too long, the demands are too high, and the downtime is too short. What are we going to do to balance out our lives in a world that doesn't promote balance? By honoring our participation in our natural cycles, and applying our creations and trials to their rhythms, we can start to integrate balance back into our lives. Every time you enter into a new phase of your life, start a new project, experience an impactful event, start a new job, plan yearly goals, or follow a moon cycle, you are participating in the natural cycles of the Earth and your human experience. The endless cycle of success-struggle-stagnation-and settling, however unpleasant its parts may be, is a natural cycle with deeply interconnected pieces that offer balance and insight into a more gentle ride through the experience that is life. Understanding your own role within this cycle provides the opportunity for manifestation by pushing you through trials and teaching you how to use your struggles as lessons to heal. This cycle mimics the natural elemental cycles of death and rebirth, the alchemical process, the steps of grieving, the hormonal cycle, and just about any other natural cycle you can think of. It is a cycle that is already in place for you, and you only need to dive in to activate it and come into alignment with it. Learn how the phases of this cycle align with your current waking life: During periods of success, we are flying high, creating, meeting goals, starting projects, connecting the dots, and staying in synch with ourselves and others. To build momentum during this stage celebrate your success, give thanks to all who have helped the pieces fall into place, stay focused, stay consistent, and stay clear by keeping up with your inner work. Your periods of success are good times to do physical cleanses, clean up your eating habits, and start an exercise routine. This phase of the cycle cleans out your Physical Body and lives in the Earth Door of Creation. During periods of struggle, it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. This is the part of the cycle that requires more work and flexibility from you, as well as some out-of-the-box thinking. To build momentum during this phase, review your accomplishments to stay motivated, stay gentle with yourself and engage in practices of gentle healing such as daily cleanses, meditation, chanting, and energy work. This phase of the cycle cleans out all four of your bodies (physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual) by burning away old assumptions, habits, traits, and false beliefs in order to purify your essential parts. Some struggles can look like the Dark Night of the Soul, a flood of small problems bubbling up, or even a life shift. The struggle phase lives in the Fire Door of Purification. During periods of stagnation, your body is ready to take rest and re-evaluate. Whether we are talking about a holistic view of your life and personality or a project you are completing, honoring the period of stagnation and rest is imperative for keeping up your momentum throughout the full cycle of experience. The need to take rest is a natural part of any cycle, and if not given its due time, will take its toll on you through fatigue, misalignment, bad luck, and blockages that keep your creative juices from flowing. Rest is an important part of any rhythm and you may feel your body calling on it more often when you have multiple plates spinning. Stagnation gives you permission to not take action and instead take stock and evaluate what needs to be tweaked. This is the time when you can most clearly see and evaluate your experience from your struggle period and decide on the changes you need to keep moving forward. To stay motivated during this phase, let stagnation teach you that your creation is a process, and not a constant output. This phase clears out your Emotional Body and lives in the Water Door. During periods of settling your Mental Body is being cleared out and you are becoming familiar with how the new you feels. While you are settling, your body is coming out of rest and preparing to jump back into action, after the dust has settled, per se. To keep momentum during this phase, practice acts of gratitude, reflect on your journey, and begin planning the next phase of creation whether that be the week ahead of you or the next phase of a project you are working on. The settling phase lives in the Air Door. Take a look at something you are going through right now, no matter how small. What phase of the cycle are you in? Are you expecting too much out of your self when are you are win the stagnation and settling phases? Are you failing to take initiative during your success and struggle phases? For information on how energy work can help you through a tough cycle or set you on the right track within your own cycle, consider some work with Sacred Rhythms, Clearing the Cords of Expectations or CCT Treatments! The Crystalline Consciousness Technique exists solely to get you in alignment with all of creation and can help you shed old patterns that are keeping stuck and make you feel like every phase is the struggle phase!
- The Crown
Jamelle Zablow-Moloney The Crown Chakra sits atop of the head receiving all of the life force from the greater Universe that you need in order to sustain energy and energetic flow. It is through this center that we get our spark which sends electricity flowing through our heart and brain, thus giving us actual life. The Crown Center is always in the receiving state and of all of the chakras is the one that can best survive in health regardless of what is happening in our waking world. This center is your connection to your spirituality, notated by the sensation you feel when you pray, make your connection to God, meditate, when you feel uplifted or inspired, and when you feel elated while acting out your life purpose. The Crown Chakra is in optimal health when you have an understanding of your connection to something bigger than yourself. Once you understand and accept that you are a part of whole, regardless of your religious affiliations, you have connected to Source, and are functioning with a clear Crown. A healthy center at this point is notated by your drive to seek further connection with your world and your own spirituality and growth, and when you feel a sense of purpose that links you with your belief systems in a way that is functional for the betterment of all. The Crown can close up when we deny our place in the Universe by denying ourselves a connection with a belief system that would push us forward in expansion and proliferation. Once we cease to seek answers to life's greatest questions we have lost touch with the Great Mystery of Life and therefore have weakened our receiving energy center. Once this happens we feel depleted of energy because although we are still getting enough energy to physically survive, we are not getting enough of it to FEEL ALIVE. In this state we have no excitement for life, for what comes next, for getting up in the morning, or for trying to be a little bit better than we were the day before. In this sense we could refer to the Crown as the center of inspiration. To open the crown, find your purpose, your God and yourself. This may take a lot of soul searching and shadow work, but such work fills your life with joy, appreciation, and all of those high vibrational energies that turn you into a producer of dreams. Visualize an array of pastel light seeping into the top of your head. Feed this center with inner contemplation and individualized spiritual work. Worship in a way that brings you the chills, and chase the belief systems that bring you fulfillment and understanding of the world around you. Notable Citations: Brennan, Barbara Ann. - Meditation: the Time We Don't Have, but the Prescription we need.
Meditation is touted as an 'effective tool' for a reason. When used consistently, it can work efficiently and quickly to change your life in any direction you want to go. I have personally found it difficult to set time aside daily to meditate in the traditional way. I would beat myself up year after year for never getting into a good routine because I knew of the benefits it could have. However, once I started to think of meditation differently, everything changed. Working in the field of Special Education gives me great insight into how the minute details of systems and procedures work, and how the slightest detail can make all of the difference. When I began to apply these organizational principles to my meditation practices, I found my perfect recipe! Meditation does not have to be a burden, a weight on your shoulder, or even the tiny voice in your ear that nags at you to do better. Meditation doesn't even need to be tightly defined for it to helps us with our goals and struggles. To my relief, as someone who gets bored quickly, I have also found that meditation is like a living document. It is fluid and progressive, and if you listen closely enough to your instincts, you will feel a daily routine of meditation begin to change as you change. Meditation is not meant to be solid and identical every day. It is a natural process that is created and creates your thoughts and thinking patterns. Therefore, an ever-changing and growing meditation is not only ideal for our changing lives, but also an inevitability. In my personal experience, after using the same meditation (which I got from a fabulous woman named Beverly Nation), I was at first confused. After the first two weeks of consistency, I saw a great change in my life and didn't know where to go from there. However, with change comes change, so I tweaked the original meditation to guide my mindset where I wanted it to go. Since, I have tweaked it many more times, and can see the changes showing up in my life and synchronizing with the focus of my meditation automatically and without any extra effort on my part. 2 years. I said it. My life has changed for the good-dramatically- since I began my mediation routine, but it did not happen overnight. However, in paying attention to the minute details of the differences it was making in my life, I learned how much more in control of my day to day experiences I was and could be. Realizing this made me realize that if I have this much power to build, direct, and shape my life, why would I want to rush that? I don't. I meditated my way out of the 'not enough time' mindset, and into a much healthier one. For me, meditation has turned into a process of manifestation and affirmation. For you, it could turn into anything you need it to be. Effective and reliable meditation is a key part of mental and physical health because it changes the brain, which changes lives, which in turn changes the health of the body. It truly is the spout of the trickle effect. Thanks for reading! Jamelle @ Bare Roots
- The Implications of The Female and Male Biological Cycles
By Jamelle Zablow-Moloney June 20, 2022 Some equate the woman's body to a changing chameleon all month long, and they aren't incorrect. A woman goes through four phases of her menses each month, creating new needs and a new character throughout each phase. Likewise, some equate the man's body to a train, steady, strong, and running consistently day in and day out without fail. Rest assured that masculine biology will keep the world running in the face of a blackout! The cycles of men and women are set by the hormones that run through their systems, and each system is different in what it needs, how it expresses, and how it interacts with the elements of the planet. There are two major ways men and women differ in their biology: in their ability to truly thrive and in their biological cycles, and these two structures have enormous implications on how both genders equally access the current infrastructure in place today. The Thrive Men thrive on the neurochemical dopamine, Women, however, thrive on the neurochemical oxytocin. Dopamine is the chemical responsible for making us feel accomplished after receiving short-term stimuli, such as crossing off things off of a to-do list, winning a game, or completing a day's work for a day of pay. This is why most men thrive in high-stakes situations and feel a sense of belonging when involved in competition due to the dopamine that is produced as a result of these experiences. It is easy to see, with this chemical in mind, why many say that we live in a "Man's World." With constant stimuli around us, the entire human race is now receiving an overload of dopamine on a daily basis, providing men with the chemical they need to be all that they can be. Oxytocin, which is squandered by an overproduction of dopamine, is the chemical that women thrive on. Oxytocin has been dubbed the 'love chemical' and is used synthetically in the street drug Ecstasy. It is responsible for the emotions that are associated and created out of making true connections with others, such as the bonds between mother and child or best friends. It is also responsible for a woman's ability to empathize with long-term consequences for both individuals and society at large, making women biologically wired to mother this Earth and all of its inhabitants. With this chemical in mind, it is hard to find consistent opportunities for women to thrive, gain access to the needed amounts of oxytocin, and stay in sync with their biological cycles at the same time. A woman's body is constantly working to stay in sync with its cyclical nature, so when a woman encounters a workforce that is linear in structure through the masculine mind and intention, she oftentimes feels overwhelmed and underachieving. The Cycle Men are the Sun. The all-encompassing power source that burns brightly each day without fail. It is a reliable system that has worked to protect the coveted woman for centuries and built the entire infrastructure that we work in today. Because the male body paces its transitions on the Adrenal Hormones, it runs in a 24-hour cycle. The Adrenal Hormones are comprised of both dopamine, a sleep-regulating hormone that regulates the response to rewards, and Cortisol, the stress hormone. These two hormones reset in our bodies each day, allowing the male physiology to synchronize with the sun's cycle and thrive off of its much-needed dopamine production on a steady and regular basis. Because we live in a society, here in America, that requires us to get up every day and live by the same daily routine, it is easy for a man to thrive on this 24-hour cycle that is tailored to his biological needs. Women are the moon. Although they have the same hormones in their adrenal system as men do, the timings of their bodies are not dictated by them. Rather, a woman's body changes in a cyclical, four-phase fashion, just as the moon's major phases do. Their bodies are ruled by Estrogen and Progesterone, the two hormones of the ovaries that run in a pattern of highs and lows throughout a month's time. Each phase within the monthly menses cycle can be different for every girl or woman, and each phase ideally lines up with an appropriate moon phase to activate the individual's potential. In a world with a consistent 9-5 daily schedule, it can be hard for any being, regardless of gender identification, who needs weekly flexibility, to thrive. So what can we do? The first thing to accomplish, as women, is to sync our cycles with the moon in order to harness the inevitabilities of right timing. By doing this, women can tap into their emotional cycles to enhance their productivity, access their motivation, and provide themselves with the rest their bodies need at the right times of the month. The second thing to do is to adapt the workplace to make it more accessible to the productivity of the woman's cycle. By placing the right amount of change on the infrastructure in a flexible manner, women can thrive just as men do and contribute in ways that have not often been seen in history. Thank you for reading the Bare Roots Energy Blog. To find out more about the four phases of the female cycle and how it lines up with the phases of the moon, read The Timings of the Female Moon Body. By joining the Sacred Rhythms Course provided by Bare Roots Energy, you can dive deep into your biological cycle. learn how to synch it with the moon, and how to empower your life through this synchrony. You can also find out more about the research behind the biology of the male and female cycles through Kayla Osterhoff, a leading Neuropsychophysiologist in her field. We all have her to thank for placing the science behind the ancient knowledge of the female and male cycle, and now all have the opportunity to begin to replace our structures that no longer serve us with ones that help us all thrive as a unified society. As always happy healing!
- Meditation Tips & Tricks #3
Conquering the wandering mind can seem problematic with endless stimulus and responsibility surrounding us. Have no fear! Never before have baby steps to the perfect solution been so easy and without time constraints! Check out the list below for some tips on metacognition! Don't let your thoughts bother you. If you're getting upset, it's because of what's going on in your mind. Evaluate those things, accept them, let them go, and just do the next right thing, which is sometimes refocusing on the right here and now. When your thoughts wander, replace them with a goal statement or an affirmation purposefully, meaning: make yourself think your affirmation rather than letting yourself think negative thoughts. For example, I will ask myself "Why am wasting my thoughts on this?" and then begin listing my gratitude points for the day to redirect my wandering mind. Start a list of quick meditations and affirmation statements. Keeping a list of small passages or affirmations that you really resonate with can be helpful when you are really feeling down. It can remind you of what your goals are and get you thinking about the details and plans needed in order to reach those goals, thus giving your renewed purpose, confidence, and motivation. Post signs. An oldie but goodie! Everyone tells us to do it because it works. Post them everywhere! Have Siri dictate affirmations to you on a daily schedule. Keeping up with small practices like this can improve mood and increase hope. Post affirmations with high vibrational, self-affirming statements. See my blog on how to create affirmations for a go-to instructional manual. Make a routine. Make a routine out of your meditation or your affirmation time. You could use your drive to work to go over your gratitude list or incorporate a short meditation dialogue into your morning. When you add meditation into your day as a routine and are consistent with it, it becomes so habitual that you miss it when you forget, and you start to notice the subtle changes it has made on you when you don't keep up with it. A quick meditation routine can change your daily vibration, impacting your entire life. How many of your affirmations can you get through during your morning shower? Choose what to meditate about. The main reason I didn't meditate on a regular basis in my younger days is because of the I was taught to meditate. It is because I'm a busy mom and on most days don't have a single extra minute in my day for anything else. I don't have time to sit down for 35 minutes and listen to a soothing voice atop a gentle rainstorm. If anything is going to be added to my day, it's going to be quick and simple. I choose what to meditate about by referring back to my goals and manifestation plans. This allows me a quick topic to focus on when I have 3 minutes of free think time at the stop lights. I use this in my exercise time, my shower time, my walking time, and my chore time, all in the form of affirmation and release statements. Brain training on the go! Have any questions or ideas? - The Divine Masculine
by Jamelle Zablow-Moloney We all have aspects of both the divine feminine and divine masculine within us, whether it be suppressed or in the forefront of our personality. The divine feminine in us sways with the wind and follows the currents of timing as a receptive and birthing vessel for the planet. The divine masculine in us rises like the mountains to stand tall in the face of creation and guide life in patience. The subject of gender is widely sensitive, with an entire generation redefining the terms that once solidly and socially defined man and woman. Modern ideals struggle to refute the gender roles of previous generations that were built around established expectations. When asked what my idea of divine masculine energy was today, I was given a chance to personally reflect on my experience with boys, men, and the masculine gender at large, a practice we should all do from time to time. Are we seeing our opposite, biological gender in bitterness or openness? When I think of the Divine Masculine, I think of energies like Gandhi, Jesus, Zeus, Grandfather Sun, Medicine Men, Old Tribal Leaders, and my Father; men who made it their business to connect to the Earth and the energies of the collective Universe. Such energy defines roles like service to others, protecting knowledge, and serving as the first response to ideas in action. The Divine Masculine, when in synch with this planet and himself... refuses to waste its potential, is strong in community morals, is not linked to gender roles, but rather to the betterment of all mankind equally, refuses to ignore opportunities to further the self beyond the conscious plane, uses its influence and status to help and protect those in need, does the right thing regardless of the cost, and knows how to lead with unconditional love. Men currently have an uphill struggle in many ways that women use to struggle with, as the world redefines what equality is and should have always been. Men, in a growing number of settings, have to prove themselves, again and again, learn compassion in the workplace for the first time, and become familiar with showing and accepting their weaknesses in a world that is demanding a softening of the hardened soul. For some, this redefinition can be debasing, although necessary. These are all positive changes, and changes that women too are being called to make now as well. Currently, I see camps of men gathering to find their inner strength together and fight their demons to make room for love and acceptance, which is exactly what we all need in 2021! Below, you will find some historical male figures that harnessed the strength of both the Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine, together and in balance. They did not focus on or live through gender roles but lived through the sight of what their communities and humanity were in need of. Ganesh: the lord of good fortune and success, remover of obstacles, the pride of man, the teacher of truth, survival, and humility Buddha: the one who is awake, teacher of clarity, patience, and an understanding of the incarnation. Osiris: the god of fertility and natural abundance on the Earth, a conservationist, keeper of the balance between man and Earth. Krishna: balancer of the relationship between men and women, emotion and mind, incarnation and Source, the god of protection and love Shiva: the destroyer and creator of the universe, the bone collector, the one who protects us by teaching the cycles of life, the one who cleans us after we learn Jesus: the carrier of the word, the revolutionary of truth, teacher of the energetic existence. Your Task: *Trigger Warning* Who are the divine masculine figures in your life? What idealities do you hold onto that makes it hard to appreciate the male gender and your own masculine traits? - The Divine Feminine
J Zablow-Moloney July 12, 2021 I use to think that I, as a woman, was more connected to my feminine traits than my masculine. This was of course before I started to research and learn about the ancient wisdom that lies within the age-old determinations of gender. Gender is a funny thing in the 21st century. Choosing what you want to be, changing what you are, and determining how you express yourself regardless of your physical gender are becoming commonplace as humans evolve into the New Earth. But what do our ancestors say about gender? What does biology say about it? The feminine dances through us all, like a wave of wind throughout the atmosphere, noticing, watching, and waiting for the right time. Waiting to birth, to create, to share, and to give. She balances her gifts with those of the masculine, who helps to create, analyzes the structure, and builds to protect. Neither has an alternative motive, and both of them need one another. Your inner woman is instrumental in the process of creation, holding, refining, and nurturing the human, the mind, and the universe into existence. It is through her sacred Rite, ceremony, and union with her opposite, that creation is possible. Your ancestors knew this and through your DNA, their knowledge of it has been passed to you as an innate knowledge that seeks to keep you in emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual balance at all times. Regardless of what biology tells you about what organs you have, and regardless of what society tells you about the gender that has been assigned to you as grew up, your four bodily elements contain both your sacred he and your sacred she, and they continually dance to assist you through your life. The Divine Feminine resides in the traits of all-inclusiveness, gentle nurturing, the attention of safe keeping, and everlasting patience. She watches and waits for the right timing, and is always developing, and strolling towards completion. The Divine Feminine in you is the part of you who looks upon the world in possibility with a beautiful vision of completed and protected majesty. Your Task: Reflecting on your own divine feminine, what traits are you skilled at? Which traits listed can you afford to strengthen? Which ones are in control? - Building the Circuit
Active Meditation 1/10/2021 What do you want to affirm today? Think of the purpose for which you are hare, in this moment, and then think of the thing you want to impact the most. Is it right? Is it good? This is your key. Keep your key thought in mind. And now focus on your breath. When your mind wanders, bring it back to your key. And breathe. Take the air in through your nose, Exhale it deep down into your throat, into the bottom of your lungs, Down through your feet as you breathe out completely. Again, Take the air in through your nose, Exhale, deep down into your throat, into your chest, Down through your feet as you breathe out completely. See a light Within your chest, Resting, At the solar plexus chakra, Where your diaphragm opens as you breathe in. Breathe in. Take the light up through your nose, Down into your throat, Down over your chest. See the light go down the front of your legs as you breathe out. Up the back of your legs, And up the back of your body. See the light expand and illuminate as it passes by your tailbone On its way up your back, Expand and illuminate as it passes the nape of your neck, Up the back of your head. See this light expand and illuminate, As it passes over the top of your head, On its way down the front of your face. Expand and illuminate as it passes over your throat, Your heart, Your navel At your feet, And as it rounds back up your heels to close the circuit. As you breathe in, move the light up your spine, Up over the crown of your head, Breathing out slowly and completely, Bringing it back down the front of your body, And again rounding back up under the feet. Breathe slowly, Steadily, And synchronize the light with your breath. In, up Out, down. Now, Bring your attention to your key. Place your key within the light as it travels up and down your energetic circuit. The key flows evenly and smoothly Within your light circuit, Growing larger as it passes by your tailbone, On its way up your back, As it passes the nape of your neck, On its way up to around the top of your head. See the key grow larger as it passes over your face, And on its way down the front of your body. See it grow larger at your throat, Heart, Navel, And feet as it rounds back up your heels to close the circuit. Follow the intention, up the back, Down the front, Breathe. Your intention runs through your circuit, Your entire body. Infusing your cells with the ideas and the energy To make it so. Breathe. Your intention runs through your circuit, Your entire body. Infusing your cells with the ideas and the energy To make it so. Breathe. Stay with your breath until you are ready to ascend back into the here and now. Wake up slowly, Be gentle with your mind and body. Give gratitude for these past moments. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. And so it is. Jamelle ZM
- Meditation Tips & Tricks #4
Don't know what to meditate about? Sometimes it's helpful to direct the mind during meditation, in order to settle it down and release our body from the day's tension. So what should you meditate about? What would make you a stronger you? What would make you happier? Start there. These questions will likely lead you down a rabbit hole of analyzing your life, however, so use the following to pinpoint the specifics. What do you require to make you stronger, happier? What do you need to get, have, or do? How can you get them? What it be like having what you need or being the way you want to be? From this question, create an image of what it will look like, and feel the gentle sensation of the emotion that fills you when you see this visualization. Remember, thoughts become things and meditation becomes manifestation. Meditation is simply a directed intention of the mind to create the reality in which we live. Create happily my people!
- Meditation Tips & Tricks #5 The Quick How-To
Everyone has their own way of doing everything. You are always looking through your own lens. My hope is that the following information will give you some insight into how creative and entertaining you can make your daily meditations. The Meditation Quickie Purpose: To ground the body, clear the mind, and bring peace to the energy body in the moment. 30-40 seconds First ground yourself with a visualization of your energetic roots, or by focusing wholy on one of your 5 sensations: what do you smell, what can you touch, what can you see, what can you taste, what can you hear? On your next inhale, imagine that your energy is like a sonic boom rising in your chest, and upon your exhale, push it out to surround your body and beyond your bubble. Take another breath in, and focus again on your roots stretching down into the planet. Repeat as needed, using a slow and calming breath, one that takes the exhale about twice as long as the inhale. The Stillness Purpose: To ground the body, clear the mind, and bring relaxation to the mental, energetic, and physical bodies all at once.Meditation for long periods of time typically takes time to master. These are tips to strengthen your practice as you sit still, relaxed, and focused for longer periods of time. Time 15-20 minutes Engage in a quick stretch and grounding exercise. Sit comfortably with a relaxed posture. Sitting with your feet or hands together helps to complete your energetic circuit. Sitting this way will help you feel your subtle energies. Slow your breath so that it is natural and relaxed, getting into a calm rhythm with your inhale and exhale, making your exhale length longer than your inhale. When an image comes in, can you ignore it? If you can, push it back out of your mind gently, and focus on your breathing. Look to the following techniques to help train your mind: Focus on a physical item for incrementally longer periods of time. Make note of all of its features and traits. Reflect on where this practice takes your mind after practicing 3-4 times. Have you gained more control over your wandering thoughts? Focus on your breathing and gradually add a mantra, affirmation, or a focus t thought with each inhale. Repeating a planned statement during meditation will keep the mind from wandering, and also retrain associations within the brain towards your words. Make sure affirmations include high vibrational words and are stated in the positive, focusing on what you want to attract rather than what you want to get rid of. Focus on a question or issue you have. To bring yourself to stillness, first listen to your surroundings, without judgement or assumption. Let the sounds flow through you, and then ask your question, ask yourself what you need to know in order to solve your problem or to feel better. Does your intuition take you anywhere? Does your body speak to you in subtle ways after asking this question? Focus on how your body feels. How does your skin feel? How does the energy under your skin feel? Can you feel the muscles under your skin? Often, tapping into our inner knowing during meditation can have surprising results, especially if we've never tried it before. Listen to the sensations in your body and to the thoughts that start to come through. Do you get any insight into your current situation? Use guided meditation to focus your mind. Guided meditations are available in many formats and can help you reach your state of relaxation without extraneous mental effort. When first starting out, this is a great option, as meditation without a guided voice leaves us with our own inner voice, making meditation a true mental exercise in practice. Focus on your posture as you sit and meditate. Can you sit up more straight with every breath? How do small adjustments in your neck affect your posture and your spine? To keep this type of meditation going for 20-30 minutes, run this detailed focus through all of your body parts, inside and out. What does your body have to tell you today? The Busy Body Purpose: To bring mindfulness into your daily routine through a meditative route, improving mood and productivity. Time: 1-2 minutes daily, with upfront practice Choose a mantra, affirmation, or meditative focus, and intone it as you go about your business. For example, repeat your statement to yourself as you wash the dishes. Repeat using Mala Beads while you walk. Use your waiting times to repeat your affirmation. Memorize a short meditation dialogue to fill in larger gaps in your day such as the bus ride. Make your statement positive, and focused on the energies you are trying to vibrate with, rather than things you are trying to rid your life of. The Classroom Purpose: To bring mindfulness to a public or group space during work times, improving the collective mood and productivity. Time: 2-10 minutes As a group, verbally complete a quick routine of grounding, such as visualizing roots growing from your fee into the ground as you inhale. Next give each person a chance to say their affirmation/mantra either out loud or to themselves, followed by a long inhale through the nose, and a longer exhale through the nose, allowing the air to reach the bottom of the lungs, where our calming receptors live. Breathe in again, bringing the arms above the head to touch the palms together. Upon the exhale, if standing, go into forward bend and touch the shins or feet, raising again with the next inhale. If sitting, upon the exhale, bring the hands down in prayer position to rest in front of the heart.
- Is Your Sacral Chakra Opened or Closed?
BY Jamelle ZM Welcome to week 2 of your Chakra health! There is a front and a back vortex to your Sacral Chakra center. The front protrudes out from where the womb would sit, and the back from the base of the spine, or the tailbone. The Root chakra also sits at the base of the spine, but protrudes downwards towards your feet and the Earth. Your Sacral center is your feeling center, from where you feel emotions and physical sensations. When the front of the Sacral is open and healthy, you welcome intimate relationships, and are able to both give love to and receive love from others in healthy ways that honor you both. The front of the Sacral Chakra is the center that controls how you intimately interact with others on an emotional level. When this center is closed you may not be able to give your full self, you may not like being touched, you may have low emotional vitality, and you may be unable to orgasm. To heal this front Sacral center, visualize deep and bright orange light seeping into your front above the genital area and below the belly button, turning clockwise when facing it from the outside of your body. Feed this center with citrus fruits and carrots, and gently practice the Boat Pose or the Butterfly Pose to physically open. Do not practice yoga moves if it is against your doctor's wishes. When the back of the Sacral Chakra center is open you are able to feel your own physical power, seek energetic release in healthy ways, and are welcoming to your mate. The back of the Sacral center controls how you emotionally and physically interact with yourself and physically interact with the world. When the Sacral back is closed you have low sex drive, possible hormonal imbalance, you may avoid physical intimacy, and have low physical vitality. To heal the back Sacral center revisit and process trauma related to your body, past relationships, and intercourse in a healthy way. You may need to work on your relationship with your partner. Are both of your needs being met? These suggestions are by no means meant to be a quick fix, rather permanent ones. Treat the Heart Chakra to help balance this center, and feed this center with deep and bright orange light, turning clockwise when facing it from the outside of your body. Yoga poses for this area include the Cat-Cow, and the Downward Facing Dog. Look out for the Solar Plexus Chakra indicators in the next email that will come in the next 2-4 weeks. Always feel free to give me a ring or an email if you'd like to know more about your energy bodies! Notable Citations: Brennan, Barbara Ann. Hands of Light. Bantam Books, 1988.
- The Key to Your Heart Chakra Health
Jamelle Z.Moloney 29 December, 2021 Your heart chakra consists of a front and a back, both ideally with a motion of clockwise spinning energy. The front of the heart chakra protrudes from its center at the place of your physical heart, or the center of your breast plate. This is the center where we love emotionally, and where all of our love emanates from. From this center, we feel connected to all things and see the true divinity, in all of its perfection and faults, in all individuals. From this center, we attach to our loved ones with energetic cords. When this center is open, we can love more and accept more in others, as well as accept more love in quantity. When healthy and thriving in the heart center, you love yourself and others in a deeply emotional way that creates lasting bonds of understanding. When this center is closed, you are not clear about your feelings of love, and you may not be able to love yourself adequately. If this is the case, you further may not be able to care for your loved one adequately. For instance, if you are not fostering enough self love, you may be unable to foster enough love and attention for your children on a day to day basis. The back of the heart chakra protrudes from the center between your shoulder blades, and is your center of manifestation. From the back of your heart, you express your ego through your will by taking action to fulfill your dreams and desires. When the back heart chakra is in good health, you are motivated, optimistic, and excited about your project and pending success upon completion. You are able to look to others for reasonable support and value their input. This is the positive attitude from which manifestation takes place; when you are able to hold the vibration and vision to see your wants materialize, process that success, and then reproduce it. You will know when the back of your heart is healthy according to your ability to manifest your thoughts into reality. When closed, this back center can cause you to feel hopeless or resentful towards love, those whom you love, and your projects. You may not be clear about how to manifest the things you want, and you could see others as blocks when in actuality they are essential to your success. To remedy this chakra, practice heart-opening yoga poses and Sun breaths. Visualize bright green light flowing in through your back through your shoulder blades and coming through your chest, clearing any blockages that may lay there. Dance, listen to music that moves you, and eat your greens. Heart Affirmation: I am the light of love. I feel the light of love. I breathe the light of love. I live the light of love. - Health of the Throat Chakra Center
Jamelle Zablow-Moloney 19 January, 2022 The front of the Throat Chakra protrudes from the middle of the front of the neck, and the back of it protrudes exactly opposite of that. These centers determine how you interact with the world through what you accept and what you express. A healthy front to the Throat Chakra demonstrates itself in our ability and willingness to own our own actions and behaviors, including taking right action both manifest and to make and keep ourselves healthy. We gain Spiritual maturity around the age 13 when we begin to create our own karma. This typically happens at the same time that puberty hits us. The Throat Chakra develops in a healthy way when at this age, we build our own self-responsibility in the frame of self actualization and forward momentum. This requires a healthy home life with loving and stable caregivers. Are you speaking your truth to manifest your desires, or are you hiding your truth from the world? The front of the Throat center is healthy when we appropriately place blame, which requires understanding and acceptance of the different perspectives of others. We have a clear Throat center when we take responsibility for getting what we want rather than relying on others to give it to us, and when we are accepting what it given to us, including help from others, and challenging situations that come to us. When unhealthy, the Throat's front energy center expresses through our inability or unwillingness to accept help, viewing the world as a generally negative place, and refusing love and nourishment. When we live from the mindset that the world is out to get us, we begin the process of manifesting that negativity in real time. The back of the Throat Chakra, also called the professional center, is the center that governs how you feel as a part of greater society. Do you feel worthy, sustaining, and that you contribute to the betterment of your community? This doesn't mean that you are saving the planet all by yourself, but that you are doing productive things like going to work, taking care of your responsibilities and yourself. This energy center is healthy when you respect your peers and the tasks that have been given to you, when you have healthy self esteem, and when your daily tasks are aligned to your life purpose. Do you like what you do? Does it contribute or take away from your own well being and the wellbeing of others? Do you accept help from others when needed? The back of the Throat Chakra has a block or is moving in the wrong direction when one expresses an unhealthy amount of pride in hopes to make up for their own perceived failures. This center's unhealthiness is demonstrated when you are unwilling to try your best, become defensive often, self victimize, and are overly competitive. You will know this center needs your attention when you experience unsuccessful jobs according to logic, but not according to your own sense of self-worth. In other words, you must discern if your failures are due to your perception and your unrealistic expectations, or if they are actual failures according to greater society and the expectations of your job. An unhealthy Throat at the back is also demonstrated by fear of being rejected, which then leads to avoiding others and a refusal to seek daily tasks or employment that is more fulfilling. To heal the throat chakra, you will want to seek self nourishment in order to draw it towards you on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. Uncover the things that cause your negative expectations, and do not get discouraged when these emotions come back as your Throat center heals; just keep up your work and it will eventually balance out for the long term. Analyze the blame you are placing on others and situations in your life, and once you are ready, take the chances you have always wanted to. Do what you love, and discover your life's purpose, and as always, seek energetic healing for these hard-to-heal areas of your energetic self. Visualize deep blue light seeping into your throat, rotating clockwise when facing it from the outside of your body. Feed this center with plenty of water, fresh fruits and vegetables, and gently practice shoulder shrugs and rotations to physically open it. Do not practice yoga moves if it is against your doctor's wishes. Notable Citations: Brennan, Barbara Ann. Hands of Light. Bantam Books, 1988.
- Is Your Root Chakra Open or Closed?
Your Root Chakra is located at the base of the spine, and is a center of Will and Being. This is the center that fully develops during our first years of life. When your root chakra is open your will to live and thrive is vibrant and logical within your surrounding. You do what you can with what you are given and feel a sense of completeness with it. You live with confidence and enough energy to get you through until bedtime. Having an open and clean Root Chakra gives you a strong sense of being and a healthy attachment to your incarnation, or to the cards you've been dealt. A closed Root Chakra is a blockage in your life force. Fatigue is present in your life often, and you do not have the stamina to complete much at a time. Full time work is difficult to accomplish without draining your stores, and it could make you grumpy. With a closed Root, you could become ill easily and often, have troubles with balance and vertigo, and feel weak on the feet. To repair a blocked Root Chakra, spend time outdoors on a regular basis. Learn to take in and appreciate each season, each temperature, and time in the grass. Through visualization or intention setting, draw the Earth's energy up through your limbs to feed the base of your spine a beautiful, glowing red light. Connecting with troubles or disruptions you experienced in utero or infancy will help to move this blockage out. Feeding this chakra glowing red light, and doing that which makes you feel validated, loved and useful will keep it unblocked. Thanks for reading! - Your Relationship With Spirit
By Jamelle Zablow-Moloney When was the last time you reflected on your relationship with Spirit? When was the last time you thought about rejeuvenating it, exploring it, or analyzing it to see where you stand in your practices for Spiritual wellness? Everyone's relationship with Spirit, or God, is unique, even if we are worshiping at the same church or simply have the same religious affiliation. What I speak of here doesn't affiliate with a specific religion, however, but rather focuses on the Spirit we find inside. We may get to this Spirit through religion, but not all of us do. Some of find our individual Spirit through the sanctity of nature. Some of us find Spirit through the day to day experiences that pull it out of us. Some of us are fortunate enough to find Spirit through miracles manifested in front of our once un-believing eyes. Regardless of how you find or bring about your own realization of the Spirit within, it is an occurrence that brings about change. I use to think, when I was naive about the nature of life's lessons, that finding my Spirit and holding onto it would be a systematic and endless experience of awe inspiring bliss; an experience that would allow me to walk among the flowers in a consistent head space of euphoric grace. I was so wrong, as many already knew! Uncovering your Spirit, its hidden potential, its shadows, and its needs, is a process of learning. These acts are processes of coming undone so that we can rebuild again and again. In light of lessons learned, we growth, and then are given new lives within this very incarnation, to learn from and to grow through in a subsequent pattern of climbing the ladder that is life. We are given new chances to grow, re-affiliate, rewire, and step up not only by the experiences life throws at us, but also by looking within. Each time we look inside of ourselves, we are given a journey to find answers that take us down paths of contemplation. For you, is this contemplation leading you to bouts of realization that uncover what you have once hidden? Sometimes we are even led to questions about ourselves that we didn't even know we had. Through introspection, we are shown our limitations and where they originated from. Following these times of introspection we are then guided through our daily experiences to the situations and events that provide the solutions we need in order to turn our limitations into opportunities for growth. How do we tap into this cycle of growth? By watching! Go Inside Learn About Yourself, your entanglement, and your limitations. Find the patterns in your life that hold you back. These patterns typically begin with childhood beliefs that are built from what you learn through experience and from you are taught by your family. Watch the Universe send you exactly what you need to untangle the limitations. You will experience in life, the things that will bring about the tools you are in need of in order to learn what you need to learn. It doesn't matter who you are or how you worship, this is the universal law for all human beings. There will always be something out there teaching you, making you stronger, telling you how to overcome your blocks. Whether it is the slow driver in front of you when you are late for work, or the screaming child in your shopping cart as you check out at the store. Something is typically testing our patience on a day to day basis. These instances are the fruit of life. These daily experiences are what help us master our own weaknesses. When we ask ourselves what our relationship with Spirit is, we are truly asking ourselves "What are my limitations? What am I doing to stand in my own way of freedom and peace? What do I need in order to improve in myself and in order to be more happy?" Asking these questions lead us to the things we are holding onto, and continuing to investigate ourselves in this way leads us closer to both our outer Spirit, God, or our Maker, and our Inner Spirit Self. Asking these questions will lead you to a greater locus of control and a higher tolerance to manage your day to day stimulation. We don't' need to be spiritual in order to be on a spiritual path. We don't have to be practicing a religion or a path of wellness to look inside and find our blocks. Thy pop up for most of us on a regular basis simply as the world turns and puts puddles in our paths to jump over! Sometimes our direction forward seems convoluted, messy, confusing, and painful. Growth can be painful. It can also be messy. However, if we are listening to ourselves and seeking our answers from within our own hearts and mind, answers become more easily accessible. Some of us pay homage to our Spiritual selves each Sunday as we enter sanctuary with our common congregation. Some of us consider our relationship with God each time we step outside and see the clouds moving overhead. Some of us watch ourselves ebb and flow in and out of a Spiritual connection and consideration for the questions mentioned here. Regardless of who you are, remember your innate ability to be in the driver's seat of your own journey. And as always, Happy Healing! - The Importance of a Healthy Third Eye
Jamelle Zablow-Moloney 19 January, 2022 My father's favorite word was that. He said that since it was one of the most commonly spoken words in the English language, he infused it with GOD ENERGY, so that every time he spoke it, he would be speaking with and through God. He always had clever ways of sticking his high vibrational practices into the mundane parts of life, such as simple conversation. Dad's Third Eye was OPEN. He was connected with his God (the Crown Chakra), and understood how to bring that connection into his reality daily. The Third Eye energy center is located in the middle of the forehead above the center point between the eyes. It is the focal point of all energy entering from the crown that disperses that energy like a prism to all of the other chakras in the body, making it a very important center in deed. This center takes your ideas from the frontal lobe thinking center, to the back where thoughts are put into action. The front of this center dictates your ability to see and understand how mental concepts can be acted out, created, and manifested in real time, thus fully understanding the messages of the mental and emotional bodies and how the importance those messages play out in our daily lives. This center also governs how you see the world and your personal reality, and how you perceive and take in the reactions and responses of others. A strong and healthy Third Eye Complex creates a creative mind, allowing you to think outside of the box, organize all areas of your life effectively, and see reality for what it truly is without attaching your own traumatic distortions to it. A healthy Third Eye will also help you see, believe, and accept the truth of situations and of others. A closed Third Eye is easy to spot in yourself, as you will feel instability in your life and thoughts, and see the world through pessimistic eyes that keep you from understanding logic and accepting support from your surroundings. This mindset may be due to past trauma that has caused both maladjustment and a misunderstanding of how to cope with the world around you. When you project your misconceptions upon your world, you create a dysfunctional world for yourself, jeopardizing the health of your relationships and long term commitments. When the front of this chakra is unhealthy with misconception, and the back is healthy with manifestation power, a dysfunctional world is created quickly. The refusal to accept the logic in the world around you and grow out of your misconceptions is what keeps this center closed. It is easy to get caught up in what the world throws at you and close off this center while you cope. The important thing is to keep moving forward in such situations in order to open it back up. The back of the Third Eye Center is located directly across from the front at the back of the head and fine tunes your creative ideas into right action for fulfillment. It is another manifestation center within your body. When healthy, you are able to self advocate, recognize your needed areas of improvement, and turn your ideas into action in order to manifest them. When unhealthy, you are unable to bring your ideas into fruition, fuddling up plans with disorganization and misunderstanding of logical flow. This in turn creates frustration and anger as constant failures feed your misconceptions of how to get things done. Such situations may make it scary for you to move forward, and you may find yourself needing to learn how to task analyze to get yourself out of a spiral. To heal the front of the Third Eye Complex, search for and face dysfunctional thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors that you find in your present life. See things for what they really are by looking at the facts and taking the objective emotions out of the situation. It is very effective to do this type of work with a therapist or counselor. If you do not know what your dysfunctional thoughts are, seek guidance from friends, family, or professionals that can help you realize the truth in a gentle and caring manner. To heal the back of this chakra do your shadow work. Clear out misconceptions about how to create what you want and how to follow through with your ideas. Plan and take the steps needed to fulfill your ideation by breaking down larger goals into smaller ones, and make daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly systems to help you reach them. Visualize deep purple light seeping into your forehead, rotating clockwise when facing it from the outside of your body. Feed this center with plenty of water, fresh fruits and vegetables, and personal, inner work. Journaling is a great way to help this center open and clear out. For what it's worth, the word that was used 12 times in this document alone! Notable Citations: Brennan, Barbara Ann. Hands of Light. Bantam Books, 1988. Schwarz, Jack. Human Energy Systems. E. P. - Happy Birthday Dad!
Dad's Eulogy, July 13, 2013 Dad, In all of your wisdom, I have grown. I have written, painted, wandered, weaved, and created with you to always back me as GOD works through you to build me. So here is what I have to share on my progress that has been born from you and the infinite love you shared to create the family that we are. With the ability to self analyze, given to me by my parents, it was clear to see that judgment, pain, and change, stem from one revolving factor which in turn cycle back to fear, the knowing that you are not in control. • A lack of control that makes you angry. It is really just fear having a jab at you because being afraid only makes us feel even less in control. So… • What we cannot control in others, we fear or get angry about because it makes us feel powerless. • What we cannot control in our environment or our lives we fear or get angry about it makes us feel powerless. • When we cannot control what happens to our bodies, we become afraid and can also become angry because we feel powerless And the ego has won… These emotions, fear and anger, become imbedded in us to create our pain bodies as Tolle puts it because we do not face the emotion as it happens, see the emotion for what it really is (fear of…), accept it, work through it, and eventually move on. And this is where Dad chimes in… “Just let go” And so this is what I was taught and therefore taught to my children and to my students everyday, because this is what really works in my life and in the lives of everyone who is recognizing enlightenment just as you have. Because… Letting Go is Healing And Healing is Peace In order to dissolve our pain bodies, we must embrace the process of pain and anger and move to forgiveness, or letting go. Although it’s easier to react with negativity to negative events, those reaction only make the pain last longer and deeper, and in turn feed the ego which gives us a false sense of being. INSTEAD…Use the anxiety negativity gives us as a tool to dissipate the pain body: 1. Face the negative emotion as it happens IN THE MOMENT. 2. See it for what it really is: What are you loosing control of? What are you not in control of that is making you angry, or afraid? Is it the space you’re in, the noise you hear, your actual body, how you are spending your time in this very moment? Remove the blame and SEE THE EVENT- UNBIASED- so that you can understand it and SEPARATE THE EVENT FROM YOUR REACTION TO THE EVENT (Tolle again). 3. Accept the emotion you are creating in response to the event: accept that you are not controlling the event yourself, but only the anger you are feeling, or the fear that you are feeling. 4. Work through it- think through that acceptance over and over until you begin to calm and… 5. Finally let it go. This is how the pain body will begin to dissolve. This is what you teach me each day during our phone discussions, and each time I think of you.
- The Moral Role
How much responsibility do the public and private school systems have in raising our youth in good morality? As a teacher I asked this of myself every day, and as a parent reflected on it every night. Most people expect their children to learn how to become well-rounded, kind individuals, able to navigate acceptance and differences while looking to their teachers as role models. At the elementary/primary level, this reality is easy to uphold. The students are young, excited to learn, and excited to share, love, and play with their classmates. Moving up to the middle school years can be a completely different experience, however. What happens when the schools drop the ball on morality? My own middle schooler is a thirteen-year-old girl who, like all of her friends, is exploring what it means to be every gender and of every sexual orientation there is to be. About a week ago, a boy in her class called her a fag. He also passively aggressively told her that women belong in the kitchen, "...that's where they need to go and stay...," and that "fags, gays, and transexuals don't deserve rights or insurance." At least he's firm on his political views. As you probably cannot imagine unless you know my daughter, she was very upset (some would say overly upset), got into an argument with him, which went nowhere, and then reported it to her teacher. Nothing was done.- regardless of a call to the school, and two days later, the boy repeated the behavior. * After a group of girls got so offended that it ruptured into classroom yelling, a second report about the targeted statements from the little dude was made, and I find myself talking to the counselor who is outlining a circle that she plans to have with my daughter and this boy so they can talk out their feelings. Well, they did talk out their feelings, and in the end, the boy said that it was just 'his sense of humor." The teachers bought it, he apologized to my daughter, case closed. --- Yesterday the kids were learning about the Trail of Tears. My daughter's Social Studies teacher has a special connection to this unit as her own Grandmother traveled to the grand State of Kansas on the Trail of Tears. Being a teacher, I recognize her genius tactic to make personal connections to the curriculum to get a good class discussion going. Thus enter our old friend discrimination from the mouth of no other than our homophobic friend from last week. "My relatives came here on the BOAT!" boasted this little guy, with the tone of pride and of having made a point. - The boat he referred to is the one that his ancestor settlers came on before conquering this great continent. My mouth dropped and I wasn't even in the classroom to witness it. It dropped in the car hours after it had even happened. My stomach dropped for the Social Studies teacher. My faith in the gigantic school system fell to the floor of the car with the rest of my guts and sanity. Not only does this guy know passive-aggressive commentation on the level of Graham Norton, but he really knows where to stick it so it hurts! At this point, we know this young man's position on slavery, as he had made his views of the attempt by the Kansas-Nebraska Act quite clear weeks before in the same classroom. He obviously has an audience. (History lesson: The Kansas-Nebraska Act attempted to divide the huge chunk of land which now make up the two states with the intent of creating a larger pro-slavery population.) The hate. The comparison. The discrimination staring this teacher and all of her students in the face astound me. The disrespect present in this situation makes me sick to send my kids to school, but I know nothing will be done least someone feels like making a literal federal case out of freedom of speech in middle schools. Side Note: the public school systems DO NOT want to do that. They don't have the money for it. So what can this teacher do? She can complain to her principal, who will follow procedures that include a ban on suspension; She can call his parents and receive an apology with no change in the boy's behavior; She can request that the counselor do another circle of feelings events for him. Will any of this be enough? Teachers and administrators alike live in a world that presents them only with options to please one and not the other. Of course, the school cannot approach this boy's parents and ask that he keep his opinions to himself. But that's not the real problem. Opinions in all of us differ, yet our morality keeps us kind to others. The real problem is that this child of 12-13 years enjoys getting attention by insulting others. This is the world he knows. Yet it is such a sensitive and personal topic, counselors wouldn't touch it with a 10-foot foot pole in fear of insulting the family. This is seen as a "family" problem. Some would say the family is what the problem is here. But that only pushes more judgment to the situation. People can't be told how to think, therefore they really can't be told how to act, and more and more, our youth is realizing this and rebelling in every way they can just as we did 20 years ago. Where do the school and the home end? Where does community responsibility step in to promote peace and understanding proactively? 12 years in those trenches taught me that school systems are set up to watch a kid go down the path they choose without any logic being applied to situations like this. Does this kid really have to wait to get fired from his first job for leud comments before someone finally helps him turn his social light bulb on? What we have here is fear to act. "Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men." -Boondock Saints Let us all respect this child's and (most likely) his parents' view on the world, however, the line is crossed when he uses those views to insult and shame others. While we hold our respect for these differing views, we must also hold our respect for ourself, and decide where the teachable moment is here. This kid may need a courageous conversation to understand the world that really exists around him, and the future's not going to go easy on him if continues to insult others in these ways. It's not that his opinions really hurt, nor is it for us to judge them right or wrong, but it is his act of purposely hurting someone else that makes turns this from freedom of speech to targeted bullying. To live in an air of personal entitlement is the most destructive part of our culture and society, and this kid is handing it out like free tickets to his comedy show. Last question: Who's plate does this sandwich land on?
- One Minute Meditation Practice
A Meditation Routine For On The Go Jamelle Zablow-Moloney 3/7/2021 The goal of this meditation practice is to add purposeful intention into everything you do, 1 thing at a time. Consider the following routine scenarios that provide a plethora of opportunity for one minute meditations: The bus ride to work Brushing your teeth Showering/Soaking Washing the dishes Folding the laundry Working out Walking the dog Waiting for your toddler to poo... What are we typically thinking about when we are forced into mundane activities like waiting for the stall at the voting booth or doing a deep conditioning treatment? For some, the mind is silent, and will not direct itself without direct intention or interaction. For others, when left to wander, the mind can take them speeding down a train of thought that leaves them with assumptions and paranoia. A perfect example of this is the mommy-brain phenomena; the mother is ALWAYS thinking of ways the baby is going to get hurt. It’s a perfectly naturally occurring thought pattern, and easily becomes an automatic one when the mind is left to wander, especially for new mothers. However, it is quite unpleasant, and leaves the body with the lasting effects of stress. Let’s replace it! The idea of meditation isn’t exactly inviting to the full-time worker. There can be a lot of planning, effort and action that goes into it, but there doesn’t have to be. The convenient thing about meditation is that it does its best work when it’s tailored to what you need, and then embedded into your routines. Like most, I feel like I neither have the schedule space or the attention span to sit and meditate for any length of time, however, opening my definition of meditation up has solved that problem for me, and hopefully you too. One minute meditations prepare the mind to focus by strengthening your metacognition with positive thought patterns; metacognition being the act of directing the mind’s focus, continuously monitoring it to keep the focus, and reflecting on its productivity. These thought habits lead to true paths of traditional meditation practices by training the mind and making it stronger, more pliable, and ready to handle environmental stressors more effectively. There happens to be an enormous amount of time available to us during our days for meditation when you think of time in tiny increments. Optimizing snippets of time with activities will, in the long run, have positive impacts on the subtle and physical bodies, helping to restructure life and make room for your goals. There are traditional ways to go about meditation practice, very specific programs that have been handed down over generations, and some that have grown out of old practices. However, a lengthy study in the practice will do you no good if you cannot first make time for training the mind. The magic of meditation is that when you start small, you end big no matter how far down the meditative path you choose to go. The addition of one small meditation routine not only clears a path towards your own version of peace, it also leads you straight to the old traditions of meditative practice if that’s how far you want to take it. Everyone has to start somewhere, unless they truly do not seek growth. Meditation on the go helps to ground and mitigate one’s energy field while in public spaces or when hosting guests in their home, by optimizing the empty moments we spend on unnecessary thoughts. This technique provides not only an automatic response for your brain during down time (which uses less energy than constant unique thought production), but it also creates a predictive response that leads to a positive habit and life altering impacts as it calms the nervous system, and retrains the brain and body. The Grounding Step Apart from our wandering thoughts taking us on emotional rides, energetic blockages and stress can also stem from the energy in our environment. Everyone’s energy field impacts the fields of those around them. For some individuals, their energy field stretches 15 feet beyond their physical body. We are always intermingling our energetic resources! The way to make the most of this particular phenomena is to recognize when your vibrations have changed to a state that makes you feel uncomfortable, and then know how to rebalance them quickly and easily. The idea is to first learn how to effectively and easily ground yourself in situations that are outside of your comfort zones. For some this may take a lot of practice and time, and for others it may come easily. A grounding technique entails mentally and emotionally getting in touch with your inner calm, reminding yourself of your connections to the world around you, reconnecting your energy cords to the planet, and seeing your surroundings from a neutral place, even if for a moment. A moment is really all it takes. The benefit to this is a calm body that is easier to focus and meditate with. There are many ways to accomplish this calming effect. My personal routine includes visualizing a white beam of light going through the center of my body, up, and out of the crown of my head as I inhale and then visualizing roots from my feet running down into the Earth’s core on my exhale. If you do not already have a grounding technique, the table at the bottom has examples for you to choose from, or to get your imagination going to create your own. Once you have mastered your grounding technique to the point that you are proficient with it in a stressful situation, you are then ready to take the practice a step further and add your meditative affirmation to the routine. The Meditation Affirmation Step The practice of One Minute Meditations is simple and effective. Once you have mastered your grounding technique, it’s time for you to consider what type of harmony you want to bring into your life, and incorporate that goal in an affirmation. A meditative affirmation is simply a statement, a thought, or a series of statements that focus on an improvement you would like to make, be it small, large, specific, or generic. It is best to start with an easy one to remember, and repeat it every chance you get in order to generalize the phrase in your memory. There are examples below to get you started. Keep in mind that effective affirmations are worded in present tense, and attempt to get around language without any negatives, such as the words no, don’t, can’t won’t, never, without, etc. A good affirmation focuses on what you want to bring in, rather than what you want to chase out or avoid. Standing in that line could be perfectly productive for your mental health and physical well being with the slightest effort. The Timing Another piece to consider when preparing your One Minute Meditation Practice, is when you will fit this tiny meditation into your life. The kids are screaming, the dog stinks, and everyone wants Taco Bell for dinner, but you still need time to rest your mind and regain your senses. When you’re in line at the shop and start thinking about your neighbor's $250 pair of shoes, this is the exact time to practice that habit of grounding yourself and repeating your meditative affirmation to yourself in any way you choose. Depending on your situation, you could get a lot of repetitions in before you’re out of wait time. Furthermore, the more you say it or think it, the more the thought attracts to you what you are affirming. How many times can you get through your affirmation without interrupting yourself with an unproductive thought or getting distracted? The goal is to focus the mind. Once we have done that, we have full control. The following tables provide examples of where to use the One Minute Meditation Practice technique, examples of meditative affirmations, and grounding techniques. I suggest starting with a grounding technique, and adding in the meditative affirmation once you begin to get bored with the grounding. The mind will tell you when it’s ready to learn more by making you tired and bored, so don’t forget to metacognate and listen to those subtle thoughts of life! One Minute Meditation Practice Guide Table Where to use The elevator ride to the office floor The bus ride to work Brushing your teeth Showering/Soaking Washing the dishes Folding the laundry Working out Walking the dog Vacuuming Waiting in line at the shop Waiting for your appointment time Going through the car wash Waiting for your nails/hair/makeup to dry Trail Walking Making the bed Sitting in the drive,-through Meditative Affirmations I am at absolute peace with the challenges in my life, as they help me grow and evolve. Once grounded, the only emotions that can penetrate my mind are those of love, peace, joy, calm, and neutrality. Regardless of the situation, I respond rather than react. Regardless of the situation, I can calm myself before I respond. Taking a breath helps me to calm, to see the whole picture, and make the next best decision.
